  1. Needs a few more to overtake the abundance of ivy threads 🙂
  2. I don't recall posting any pics of work , mine ( unremarkable ) or anyone else's . .
  3. Macrocarpa ?
  4. I had 2 working cockers . One called Holly and , yes , you guessed it the other was Ivy .
  5. I must be missing out on something ??
  6. Its called slabwood round here as well .
  7. My old Mum taught me that one in 1957 . 🙂
  8. Reminds me of the " no touch " kung Foo master getting floored by an MMA fighter . The " no touch " master , when he came to , said he lost because the MMA fighter was a non believer ! 😄
  9. Dan . Why didn't you sharpen the chains rather than bin them ?
  10. I think the missile that sunk it was built in someones Ukrainian kitchen . ( which was built in the 80s ) .
  11. Top banana state of the art Russian war ship sunk by Ukraine " home made " missile 😃
  12. Sycamore is THE least labor intensive fire wood going IMHO . As said seasons relatively quickly , spits lemon squeeze , burns like ash or beech pretty much . I would have it all day and twice on Sunday if that helps .
  13. I always found that you could make more dosh on 3-5 little jobs than one bigggun that took the same amount of time .
  14. I might have a look if you promise me there are no silly rhymes about fire wood ....
  15. I like UPS coz Lynnette is our local driver and she is a complete honey with a fantastic bum .
  16. Peeps seem to have over looked the pollution caused in the manufacture of the batteries , the mining of the lithium , the transportation across the planet , and finally the disposal of spent cells albeit a certain degree of recycling that is involved . Just saying .
  17. I get what you are saying doobs but files are sooo much cheaper . The more you do with a file the quicker and more efficient you become .
  18. Just get a 2 stroke unit . No valve clearances to consider . 2 strokes make more power than the comparable 4 stroke engine . ( Moto GP used to be 500 cc 2 strokes , its now 1000cc 4 strokes ) I would go Husqvarna but I am slightly biased . As suggested the other alternative would be battery .
  19. Would these be compatible with two baked bean tins and a taught string ? 🙂
  20. How old are you ? I say this not disrespectfully but just to point out you may not see the benefits in your lifetime , dependent on your age .
