  2. Sorry to hi jack an old thread. But my 550 which has been great for four years has just started playing up. It starts fine and runs on half choke. And it's runs fine on full throttle but as soon as you let go it dies. I have checked fuel filter and spark plug. Any ideas what else it could be would be greatly appreciated. 8. Sorry for the derail. Has anyone ever converted a dumper for use as a skidding unit? Not talking huge timber but just multiple fire wood lengths. A friend of mine and me had an idea to weld a plate to the front of the bucket with the notches for choker chains, tip the bucket, hook on the chains and put the bucket down lifting up the logs. Only issue with this would be driving everywhere in reverse Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  13. NJ I have sent you a pm. I am based in wilts/Dorset and been in the game for a few years. Mainly as a groundy but I love the hand cutting side of the game and love tree felling as its what I have been brought up with with my old man being a hand cutter for the last 35 years. So if anyone wants a hard working pair of hands give me a shout. I have small and large felling tickets. And like to think I do a good job.
  14. Be careful. I lost the little grub screw when I went to put it on my harness last week. Do it in a clear area👍🏼👍🏼
  15. Try running running some petrol through the tank first it may clear the blockage.
  16. That's a bloody good idea. I guess you just drilled the lid on the tool box and bolted the vice on.
  17. That's a lovely little tractor. I'm a bit jealous. Got any other pictures? I bet she comes in handy.
  18. Hi Jon. We play against David Francis.
  19. I play skittles with David Barnett. Actually I'm shooting with him next week. What a small world.
  20. I've not heard of Charlie Riggs but knew Gordy well. Unfortunately he passed away last year very peacefully. He didn't wake from his afternoon nap. And I know John snook very well. He has only recently stopped following the hunt due to ill health but I often see him in the pub and he tells me about the glory days of hunting.
  21. Hi shavey I have hunted with the wilts nearly my whole life so about the past 20 years. I know a lot of people there yes. How long ago was he there?
  22. Hi Jon. Where did you go? Out with the mendip farmers. Or are you in south west wilts country?
  23. Search for Roland hemming in Google. Best instructor in the area by far.
