  1. Have you tried the Zippo hand warmers??
  2. Hi. I was wondering what people's views are on the Sugi Pro Lam bar. I'm looking for a new 15" bar for my 550 but can't really justify the expense of the light weight bar.
  3. I've just a vauxhall combo 1.7 tdi. Seems a great little van. Cracking on fuel. Pretty nippy and cheap to insure.
  4. If you take it into sydenhams they can send it to davenports. Ask Dave. That's what he does with his chipper blades.
  5. Hi Mark. I'm not sure but I think they may have lost that one in the winter gales. I know they lost a huge Lawson near the pantheon. Sent using
  6. Yeah that's what I thought. Did you manage to repair it? Sent using

  10. Hi all. I just wondered if anyone had experienced this problem before. My Husqvarna 550xp has cracked and developed an oil leak. Is there any way back from this i.e. Warrrenty repair. Many thanks. Sent using
  11. I'm using the Yale Hedera 13mm at the moment and really rate it. That's with a 10mm silverstreak VT. Sent using
  12. Hey. I am looking for a 4-5m length of tachyon with spliced eye to use as my side strop. Does any one know where I can purchase one?? Thanks Sent using

  14. Yeah good point. Hope to use one enough to warrant any wear. If any Sent using
  15. I have been thinking about buying a pantin foot accender recently. But I have heard from a couple of people that they can cause excess wear on your rope. As I have only just bought a new 37m yale hedera, I don't really fancy ruining it. Have any of you experienced too much wear from using a pantin? Sent using

  17. Hi rob. What Sugi bar would you recommend for a 200t?? Sent using
  18. I know some one who trades as Arbracadabra Sent using
  19. I second this. I have done all my training with Roland over the years. He is a top bloke and great instructor. Sent using
  20. Larch had failed at the base leaning over road and power line. Sent using
  21. I wish I had a mentor like you silky. Could do with a bit of confidence boosting. Sent using
  22. I should think Knighton countryside management will get this job. Or uptons. Not sure if any of those guys are on here to get some pics when the jobs done. Sent using
  23. I expect they would have asked for a receipt as well!!
  24. Thanks. I have also seen people taking a few steps forward while still tightly gripping the rope. But when I tried that I nearly went flying into the tree Sent using
  25. I've been groundling for a few years now but have mainly been dragging and chipping. Have just started to run the ropes on the rigging sides of things and getting on fine with it. Just one question though? When you are snatching big pieces what is your technique for letting them run. And how long should you let it run for? Sent using
