  2. real interesting as when i did my climbing ticket in the uk we was told the pro's and con's of the lockjack and how dangerous they can potentially be in comparison to using a prussik loop i.e. pull the toggle and freefall. we was allowed to go up and down on one but had a belay on so if anyone gave it the tablet on the way down they wouldnt hit the deck I really like lockjacks

What parts of the tree are better than the uk and what bits are worse How did you sort out Visa's and accommodation Do many people speak english out there How did you get your foot in the door out there Ill think of more I know some of the questions may be different for different firms but its a start for me to built knowledge thanks again Arran

  6. 2nd that,knut is awesome, if you get high enough it will self tend with 13mm but thats an added bonus when climbing bigger trees
  7. Ive been using 13mm marlow gecko with 10mm marlow boa as friction cord and works well, I dont think thinner is always better.bought some 10mm OP and having hell trying to make it work with my hitch climber. Going to end up turning it into a prussik loop if it doesnt start working soon
  8. Planned on just doing comps in the uk but would be great to go abroad to watch will keep an eye out for all comps, to have a go abroad would be awesome Arran

  14. That is helpful, its something that im not 100% sure on is when rock climbing/ irata kit is used in the arb industry.
  15. I.e as on a lanyard, does that mean it can be used as a load bearing secondary or desend out a tree on one on srt or ddrt?

  17. Nice use of his lanyard there the wrench opens up so many options for where to go in the tree/ surrounding trees. Sets his wrench like its second nature there wicked. Arran
