  1. Don't understand bud what do you mean? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. When used properly will use a double bowline, it is non retrievable but that's not a problem I believe I save enough energy using it to go back up and retrieve it, plus it saves it hitting the deck when retrieving from the ground. Shouldn't be a problem using a running bowline as its the same used as my top anchor on srt Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Pinto pulley and spacer turned up today nice and prompt! Thanks again Gustharts, used the chocker fisherman's as well worked well!! Had to have a rejig with everything as the pinto doesn't fit through the mallion, will just use a running bowline instead. Will try out tomorrow:D Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  7. straight and stick it to your leg So out the way its unreal even with spikes on its brilliant
  8. I was about to ask the same question... I use srt a bit but no way near full time. The fitter part and larger chest part interests me?? Because at times you have to pull in 100% of your body weight rather than 50% on DRT? More top anchors are thrown in so you spend longer footlocking/ pantin? Climbing more because you climb quicker!?! All this really interests me, the proper evolution of SRT in the UK right here documented On the flip side, is anyone have knee problems due to excessive amounts of pantin use?
  9. good skills bud

  18. Yes, know what you mean, did try that with my cambium saver but my mallion was to big to fit through the pulley like 2mm to big, just my luck:rolleyes: Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  20. Why's that dan? Just to stop wear on the friction cord? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Side loading on the mallion isn't problem because of its high swl Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Made it just now using a fix cheek pulley and a mallion rapide, fix cheek rated at 12 kn and mallion rapide at 1750kg swl. Bit of New England hi vi, Marlow boa cord and a bit of innertube to protect the cord from the pulley. Mallion is that way up so it can be retrieved in cambium saver mode but not retrievable when chokered. Just making sure it is ok to suspend my whole weight on the isc fixed cheek when chockerd ( rated at 12kn I.e 1200kg) as I've only seen pulley savers with pinto pulleys? Thanks Arran Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. 2nd that I only use them when on the ground doing spikey stuff or ivy severing or when it's really cold and im on a big saw all day, but my groundy uses them all the time and they are brilliant he does a pair every 6 week's roughly and I do a pair every 3/ 4 month's, again fingertips are worn but they are b brilliant. Only roughly six quid I think Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
