  1. I have had 2 loncin engines on crane trailers and both have been taken off because they ran like crap after a very short time, both trailers now run Honda gx200, I have just replaced the oldest one that has been on for about 5 or 6 years and abused, still runs OK but thought I would replace as I rely on them so much. Just bought 2 new Honda's from justhonda.co.uk they had pretty good prices.
  2. I would say give Rob at MCA Kingstone a call, but last time I spoke to him he was going to call it a day due to issues with suppliers. May be worth a call though as he did mention there was someone possibly interested in taking it over.
  3. Training army, navy and air force medics and personnel to help staff the nightingale hospitals would have been a starting point I guess.
  4. The current setup is a complete joke. Doing some research today and came across this which I found interesting, from a pretty good source as well, the responses are well worth reading. Covid-19: politicisation, “corruption,” and suppression of science
  5. Whether you believe it or not Sorry I can't find it anywhere else. Where did the Nightingale hospital disappear too ?
  6. Cheers for that, I had visions of paying out to get it fitted and then finding it wasn't up to the job, they aren't exactly cheap things to buy. We have a Webasto clone heating my boys static caravan on diesel and for 4-5kw output it uses virtually bugger all diesel. The stoves appear to be quite economical as well.
  7. I know it's not wood stove related but I am wondering if anyone has any experience with Oil stoves, I am thinking about a bubble stove or Harmony h11. I have had enough of all the hassle involved in my villager Chelsea wood burner, and all the years of cutting and storing logs. My Chelsea is 5kw and although the Harmony is also 5kw as well, I get a lot of heat from my Chelsea when I ramp it right up, I would imagine it's well over 5kw, and not sure how the oil stove will compare. Anyone have an opinion on them ?
  8. I may have a full width allisport one coming up for sale shortly if you are interested. It had one of the mounting points snap and I have to get it ali welded back on, but have to find the bit that snapped first :(.
  9. God that's one exceedingly fugly truck.
  10. As much as I would love to share a photo of my workshop, I can't as I can't get in the bloody door to take a photo because there is so much crap on the floor
  11. small dent in the wing Along with everything else mentioned
  12. I believe it's similar to the VW haldex system, It's 2wd until the front slips and it then uses 4wd and puts the torque to the wheels in a ratio to the grip they are getting, bloody expensive if it goes wrong I would think, I have it on my transporter and have only had it come in a few times.
  13. I looked at them but was warned by someone that owns one not to expect the 4x4 system to take the beating that my landy gets.
  14. I had my camera setup and stayed up all night a few years ago to get some long exposure shots of this and got: Absolutely sod all
  15. I have an ifor williams one that may fit that. Still have it from my trailer that got stolen.
  16. Have seen a few around here, would love to try one for a week to see how long it lasts
  17. I will be ordering everything online, trucks will be filled up at pay at the pump places. I have seen people wearing masks that look like they have wiped their arse on them. I was happy(ish) to go into a shop and keep 2 metres apart, I won't be standing a metre away from someone wearing a mask made from material that can't filter out sod all let alone virus particles. I wait in fear to see how many people get bacterial infections from wearing dirty marks, or mask for too long a period, it's the almost perfect petri dish, and in these times of antibiotic immune bacteria that is quite worrying.
  18. The 7.5 ton Isuzu's are just under 5ton in chassis cab, pretty impressive.
  19. And a whole lot more environmentally friendly than artificial turf.
  20. I hope they do them in a pickup and lwb chassis cab
  21. When we inquired about bulk bags from Sackmaker they said they don't make one ton bulk bag size bags in the UK, only smaller bags.
  22. I'm bored of it, it's been non stop since we went back after the 3 weeks off. I keep saying it has to slow down but it's just getting busier every week. I have taken the decision to do of much of it as I can because I think once people start realising quite a few ain't going to have a job to go back to things will slump, but tbh i'm not sure how much more I can do at this rate.
  23. Camon C8 are pretty good reliable machines We have a couple we hire out, one of the old ones and a newer Powersafe model and none of my trade customers like the newer powersafe version for some reason. Tines need to be kept decent on them though else you will be there all day, and they do wear out pretty quickly.
