  1. wouldn't want to be in the crowd watching it
  2. I have mine on the bonnet (300tdi) and it's a pain in the backside, it throws your judgement of the nearside front corner, as said you get used to it but it can be annoying in tight spots. Mine has HD checker plate and the bonnet stay is different (beefier one piece)
  3. Out riggers are fine, it was from the drain holes under the cab right back to the axle, and the a bit on the rear cross member. I am a bit reluctant to get rid of it as it's mechanically very good, but it does bugger all miles a year.
  4. My old green 300tdi hicap passed it's MOT yesterday, sailed through but needed a ton of welding that took 2 days to do, need to decide if I get rid or keep it as a stand by truck. Unfortunately the VNT kit I fitted to the rebuilt landy has failed (oil seal gone) and it now looks like I have a fight on my hands to get it done under warranty.
  5. I finally made the decision to get shot of the Triumph and get what I really wanted in the first place, I was never happy with the Triumph. Arrived today, certainly loud enough can't wait for the weather to improve.

  7. Yep and they will probably blame that on the stress of the case, I can see where this is going.
  8. Such a shame, but you done all you could for it Ted.
  9. What a lovely bird Well done Ted Please keep us informed of how it's doing
  10. You could try shelley H on people per hour here Shelley, we recently had her write some content for a new site I am working on, but she does sites if you ask her, her content prices are very good, from memory she quoted £230 to do our new site, but I quite enjoy doing it myself, so she is just helping with content.
  11. Can I ask what make and model camera that is ? Mine aren't cheap rubbish but I don't get image quality like that from them.
  12. From my experience they aren't, ours is nowhere near as strong as our old ones.
  13. Best of luck We have had a fault since 2nd October last year, they pass the buck and spout crap, I never thought there was worse than talk talk but they have proven me wrong, and that's on a business line. They are worse than useless, even if you speak to someone English.
  14. Whats parts backup like if something goes wrong especially something major ?
  15. £450k and you can't even sit on the crapper properly
  16. I have done two, if you get itchy feet being in one place to long, a cruise is ideal, it's great waking up every morning in a different country. First one was as you thought, a boat load of pensioners, crap food and some horrendous weather on the way out, it was a bloody nightmare come true. Second one was given to me as an apology for the first, same boat but different time of year, and it was a truly excellent holiday. Try not to pick a small boat, although they are nice because there isn't too many people on board, they have limited entertainment, and you can't hide yourself away from the inevitable annoying person. I think the larger ships get a lot of younger people on board, especially the big American ships as cruises have got a lot cheaper and more money about.
  17. Nice one Steve. I think as we get older the unfit bit creeps up on us, for me I have gone from a job that was labour intensive to pulling levers to unload and sitting behind steering wheels most of the day. I decided last year that it was time to get myself back into some sort of shape, I now do Muay Thai training twice a week, and an hour of various other exercises every other evening, I have been at it for about 3 months now and although I am still highly critical of myself there has been a huge improvement in things, I couldn't even run 150mtrs down to the shop but can now run 4 miles without too much trouble, and have just got into push biking again after 35 years away, and went for an 11 mile ride the other day, something I would have never considered 3 months ago. That along with finally getting my shoulder fixed, which was helped hugely by the Muay Thai training and I feel so much better for it. One thing I did do was have a proper diet plan made up for me, which has shortened my muscle recovery time a lot as it was something I was having trouble with, it was well worth the small cost. All the best with it, but be careful not to bugger yourself up.
  18. Vodafone one net you can, but be warned from our experience getting a ported number back to a landline if you should ever need to is a true nightmare and it appears it can only be done by BT.
  19. Vodafone one-net BT business landline diverted to BT business mobile, although you pay for both services the diverted calls are free, but BT are worse than useless. I am going to try a new way this year as there appears to be issues with the whole divert thing as we get a lot of customers not being able to get through, we are going to try a Burnside follow me unit based at the landline and 2 gifgaf sims, so the call transfer will be free on gifgaf to gifgaf, and if anyone is in the office they can also answer it.
  20. There was a lot more to his case than simply shooting 2 burglars. And as much as I think anyone should have the right to protect the property, personally I don't feel he should be allowed to have a license, it appears he don't need one anyway ? if they have found anything this time it will be second known time he has been in possession of an illegal firearm.
  21. Irate I have no idea what happened there, I think I replied to late then changed it
  22. You could try RST land rovers down on Mersea island, ask to speak to Rodney or Richard. They have a lot of body panels but not sure if they sell them as they use some themselves.
