  1. Black out roperunner looks sick
  2. Sound like a competition is on out hands here haha
  3. Ima spiderjack man through and through, but all is a personal thing mate, all ART gear is built very nicely so you can't go wrong with eather, for me the whole point of mechanical drt is the self tending and the spiderjack is better than the zigzag, just takes longer to get used to that's all
  4. Sorry for some reason I was talking about rope wrench, ignore the last comment lol
  5. I'm on hrc cord and love it but not tried beeline so I can't compare
  6. For me I want to climb for as long as I can, so I think it's very important to keep up to date with the latest gear, make the job as easy as possible for myself. When I get old I'll cut out the big trees, do some hedge cutting, grass cutting. I guess it helps that I'm not that money orientated so I'm not that bothered if I do a job at less pay either. That's my plan anyway haha
  7. Wrong thread sorry lol

  9. North is different I feel, climbers are struggling to get over £120-150 so groudies in my experience are usually around £80-90 but that's only what I've seen, could be wrong. I'm in Lincolnshire
  10. Does it fold up nice and small mate?
  11. But it so flipping expensive lol
  12. Anyone on here that can splice me one up?
  13. Really enjoyed that mate just pantin for ascent.? Of did I miss something else? Those saws were cutting like butter!
  14. I really can't work out what to do, either buy one of these now or pre order the rope runner. After been on mechanical (spider jack)for 7 years before I got my rope wrench, I still hate knots haha love srt, hate cord
  15. Any link mate? Not working on my iphone
  16. Price no object I would check out the kiwiklimbers, dale would be able to custom them exactly if they don't already fit
  17. This is the biggest pain in the ass with srt, those crotches!! But I think it's just cos I'm unfit haha
  18. On them again today, with a spiderjack so not too much need for the ascender, there so comfortable compared to the Buckingham rap pads, I know the price will put people off mind, but how often do you have to buy spikes haha
  19. £120-£150 a day , the end haha
  20. I'm prob one of the very few that use ear plugs, I prefer them, better sound deadening, lightweight and cooler in the summer, sure there was a thread I set up with pictures on here somewhere
  21. Loving my pair too, dismantle all last week and there sweet, took abit of getting used to the actual gecko spikes as iv climbed on Buckinghams for so long but, there awesome, really need one of those spacers that you can click into!
  22. Makes total sense, I guess because iv seen a few guys running them with a wrench I just thought it was ok, I did email ART at the time about it to ask if it was all ok with the wrench and he said there shouldn't be a problem at all, but I honestly don't know enough about it to comment. Thanks for the insight Adam, are you on the hitchhiker over the wrench all the time?
  23. In my head I felt like the HH took the load first then the spiderjack, but obviously the other way around? I'm tired and can't get my head around it but if enough force is taken from the spiderjack, and it is positioned central though I still can't get in my head how it's different to a positioner, obviously I'm wrong, but still can't think lol
  24. I'm sure the spiderjack wouldn't side load it's pretty much the same as the positioner in function
