  5. any help is much appreciated, so no disrespect taken, been used to the spiderjack its been a bit of a learning curve going back to knots, i weigh between 12.5 and 13 stone, I'm wondering because I'm using a small length cord (65cm) its binding easier, also noticed that I'm burning through the cord pretty quickly too i clip into all sorts haha, trying everything, clipped into the the top of the tether, the bottom and the ring that its all attached too, I'm suing a petal pulley now as i didn't like the way the tether sat next to the hitch climber, ill post a pic of what my set up looks like

  7. I am still struggling on ascent, the problem I have got is whatever hitch knot I try, when I'm going up using foot and hand ascender combo, the knot keeps jamming, pulling my neck Elastic or chest harness down really hard, it's really annoying me, I don't know if it's just the cord and rope combo not helping, I use kernmaster and ocean poly 8mm, any suggestions will help many thanks Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  12. As said above, the surface area on the art swivel is larger so will be interesting to see how long it takes to wear, as I said iv been using swivels for years now, never let them wear away, but you have to keep a eye on it! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Here's a few comparison pics for you all who were asking about the twister, been using it a few weeks on my bridge now, really light compared to the dmm, that's what I really notice, a lot less bulky too Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  19. Well I loved it on the first outing today, only used it as a redirect, but usefull when my co-climber quickly clipped a pinto pulley below my redirect as his cambium, doing two jobs in one, just found it very easy to use Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Just got this through today, looks a very versatile tool, video on YouTube somwhere I think explaining a lot of them, I'll be mainly using it as redirects with my wrench, but there is quite a lot of other uses , I'll keep you updated, anyone else use one? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Always used a pinto until recently using a hitchclimber, much better, close cheeks I prefer for getting the eyes of the hitch closer, and great for a second climbing line if needed Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  24. Just received this new ART Twister swivel through and it's real nice! And it fits the carabiner locks through as well perfectly (well on my dmm ones anyway) real lightweight. I have used the DMM small upto now, but this looks a winner out of the packet. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
