  1. Hi all, might be a silly question but I've planning on using a speed line on a job next week and would like to know what length slings everyone uses to choke branches? Going to order 5 or 6, was thinking 1 meter would be all round best? Cheers
  2. Ah excellent. So is the only advantage of a swing cheek is that you can get it on and off the rope quicker?
  3. Hi all, trying to decide on my first micro pulley (isc, dmm pinto, petzl) for my lanyard. Any recommendations or are they very much like for like? And is fixed cheek or moving cheek better and why? Cheers
  4. All excellent ideas guys thank you. Will give some a try when it arrives.
  5. Is that because of the different waist clips Arran?
  6. Hi, been climbing on a blakes and now looking into geting a hitch climber system, lots if great info about it on here. What I really want to know is if anybody has a solution regarding the terminal knot (figure if 8/fishermans) interfering with the hitch as I only have a non spliced rope?
  7. Looking at 2nd hand harness so won't have the luxury of the newer model. If I'm not planning on using a full body harness do you think the standard sequora would suffice? Cheers
  8. Hi new to this forum and climbing and would like to know if anyone could confirm the difference between these two harnesses? Couldn't find a definitive answer, is it just the part in the back for body harness and the quick release clips that are different? Any info would be great.
