  1. Really enjoyed that mate, bit strange how we have identical kit minus the bone, I use a runner haha
  2. Really enjoyed your srt workshop today, I couldn't workout how to contact you, wanted to ask, where did you get your climbing trousers from? They looked perfect!
  3. That chipper though
  4. Has anyone got a list of stretches that are good to do daily?
  5. When I first started srt I was always trying to use the pinto with the wrench because it looks "in line" but honestly the hitch climber is easier, no messing around with where to clip into, it doesn't matter in the slightest if the tether and wrench are angled to the side and bd it's the hitch climber us much slimmer it all sits on a carabiner a lot better. But that is my opinion
  6. I use a short 65cm cord with my wrench like the pictures, arb pro cord and also hrc I think it's called? Don't use this knot though it's crap, 3 raps and 2 cross overs works well for me, even a Knut knot is great if you have a slightly longer cord
  7. Hi mate how have you been keeping? Are you running a stiff tether with your wrench? That makes a huge difference, but the new ones are very slick and predictable
  8. Personal I think it will be easily adapted to be used with a rope wrench
  9. Cubes for me, they don't get that badly tangled unless you let anyone else pack them, then it's a nightmare, I like them because they fold down very small unlike the bucket ones.
  10. Floop going strong here, I'm not knocking the stein one at all as I have never seen one, but if you need one like, now, you can't go to far wrong with the tree kits 4SRT
  11. Dmm do fit through its just a little tighter that's all
  12. Sherrilltree rook or the rock exotica one, has it all in one
  13. Personally I would just ring treekit up or go on there website and visit the SRT section, the best tethers are on there that I have used, called 4SRT range. So all you need is, hitchclimber, 4SRT tether, rope wrench, 4SRT neck elastic or your own chest harness made of a sling, a Ct foot ascender (petzl are crap until they bring the new one out) and a 4SRT knee ascender. All good stuff from one place, a few slings and crabs for redirects and your away
  14. Do like this one, simple filming but a BIG tree
  15. Do like this one, simple filming but a BIG tree
  16. Yea a little bit excessive for the regular reserved Englishman but I do like the drone footage
  17. Another one for you guys. Enjoy
  18. It is so hard to recommend spikes as they always seem a personal thing, I absolutely love my kk's after been on Buckingham titanium a with Velcro raps, I climb with two guys who have the new dmm geckos, one loves them, the other not so sure, he has really short legs though haha, often with the new solid pad spikes you need to bend them really hard on before you Velcro them tight
  19. So after all this time what are you guys using with your roperunner? Everyone still on kern?
  20. I have a question, I run aspen in everything with no bother, I live next door to a supplier in Horncastle. Anyway. My mate came over to help with a job with his ms261, ran it on aspen for the day. By the end of it, it wouldn't idle and really lumpy when it finally started, the saw had to be flushed and normal petrol put back in and it finally came right again. Any suggestions on why this may happen to his saws but not mine?
  21. Smaller hitch and as small a tether as you can get will help I think
  22. Have a look at this guys, don't know a lot about it but looks good!
  23. If I wasn't on the tree motion I would go sequoia or vega, but that's my personal opinion
  24. Thanks mate, it's a cool little thing, I ise it everyday just about, I like the fact that you can use it like this to....
