  1. It must be an Aussie thing. Too much self abuse! Next you'll be asking us why you're going blind!
  2. Damn it! I thought I have all the gear I need. Now I've got to get a Velox. Is there no end to it??!! :laugh1:
  3. Call Ben Nicholson
  4. Christ, if that's what you said to them verbatim, they must have been completely flummoxed! Lol!
  5. Richard Court Forestry. Surrey.
  6. Why bother when one could buy a Hitch Hiker or Bulldog Bone or Unicender or Akimbo? Deliberately devices designed for the purpose, not bodged to fit an idea. Just my opinion though.
  7. What he said plus you'll be lucky if anyone divulges this kind of info on here. This stuff is more closely guarded than the holy grail!
  8. That's an odd question considering it's not designed for SRT. You also answered your own question.
  9. Golf is a fiddly game. I would always recommend using a large stump grinder to expand that annoyingly little hole on the putting green. Brilliant!
  10. It was probably two blokes transporting it up north after stealing it down south!!
  11. Thanks Peter. I'd forgotten about that company. Next time.
  12. Damn it! Where were you two weeks ago when I needed a chipper like that? Do you contract out to companies? If so, where are you based?
  13. They will still moan about the jackets because they won't look after them. My policy on this sort of stuff is to give them a product life span. If they wreck the jackets within say, 3yrs, they must pay for a replacement. I refuse to pay for staff to abuse and lose my gear.
  14. Now we know why you bought a soft top Triumph! 😂😂😜
  15. Hahaha! Yes and if that's what won us jobs, Yellow Pages would be trying to them to us.
  16. I'd get the Marvin / Jameson from Treekit.
  17. Another photo. After I took the photos another 7 dumper loads came out. Each dumper load weighed between 4-6 tons.
  18. Photos for K66 LOG:
  19. And wind the window down if it needs to be a detailed inspection!
  20. The big timber starts to come out to the haul road.
  21. Ah, press the button. I assumed you'd been toiling over a Tirfor! Lol!
  22. I don't get it. Why put a winch (tied on too low) on such small trees that you could push by hand or use a felling lever. Maybe the men in the picture are 16ft tall and the trees are bigger than they appear. Or maybe 120mph wind in the wrong direction. Maybe I'm missing something.
  23. I have an artic load just south of Reigate, Surrey. I had a taker but now it's not happening!! Anyway, it's large trunks and limbs in 3m lengths. I reckon there is enough to fill an artic. I don't want anything for it so please come and take it. Access is very good. Call me on 07834 414271 Thanks Al.
  24. I've seen the photo and a video so I get the jist. However, I wondered if it's a useful product or just a gimmic that gets used five times then it's relegated to the bottom of a pile of other 'good ideas'. Also, is it just for chogging down big lumps or is it a useful felling wedge? Thanks.
  25. I paid less for an 8" Jensen with no hours on the clock and wasn't last years model.
