  1. We've got Sky, Apple TV, BT Sport subscription and a Firestick. I have no idea why as we only watch a few things and the BTSport is only for MotoGP etc. All a waste of money IMO unless you watch tons of telly.
  2. That's a very good and responsible point of view John. Well done. What you'll find in the future, as your business grows and your children become more irritating is that the alcohol will become an essential part of your PPE. Top quality booze will then provide you with the performance to make further great decisions like buying a sports car lavish gadgets and gravitating towards other confident men who are also nurturing a mid life crisis. 👍🏼👍🏼 😂😂
  3. If the ground is anything but dead smooth, keep the speed down. Never turn at speed, until you're very experienced. Don't travel with the boom up high unless the ground is dead level and don't turn quickly with the boom up high, especially if loaded.
  4. The only use I can for that is loading timber trucks. For chipper feeding you'd need a mighty big space for that truck, skidders turning, chipper, chip trucks, welfare van! Lol!
  5. 2016 can kiss my ass. It's not been an easy year, albeit pretty good for business so I'm hoping for a smoother future. Having said that, most of what happened was as a result of my own decisions, however I'd prefer to blame the year instead of myself! Lol!
  6. The only thing you can ask here is about durability. Then it's a personal choice. What I find comfy, you may not so you just have to try them on.
  7. I also (tentatively) looked at them last year and found Stan to be very friendly and helpful. I didn't get one as I soon discovered that it doesn't fit my specific requirements perfectly.
  8. Yes if you change the muffs for good ear plugs. Apparently you must not use plugs with the muffs.
  9. If you want reviews, read this thread: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=52221 Then call Treekit and speak to Max who will advise you on the best choice of visor and other options.
  10. I doubt you'll find items like that in a discount sale. Ever.
  11. IME all of my carabiners are equally unreliable. Considering the amount of dirt that I don't clean out of them its a wonder that any of them work at all.:laugh1: However, because all my biners function badly, I am constantly reminded to check them every time I open/close them! It's this slack approach to an extremely important issue that keeps me alive. :thumbup1:
  12. Also read this thread to find your top tips. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=50578
  13. You need a chest harness for the Hitch Hiker. The HH is a perfectly designed device but the rope and hitch cord choice is critical. Make sure you have a cord that suits your rope perfectly. Also be sure to experiment with hitch tightness as this also makes the difference between awful and excellent.
  14. I ordered some stuff from Rob and I mentioned a few past problems with Sugi bars. He apologised but it's not his fault so no big deal. Anyway, my package arrived and it was stuffed with extras. Along with good advice and a speedy delivery, this makes this the best service anywhere, ever. Bravo!
  15. I placed a small order and it arrived promptly but one of the items was wrong. No big deal as I'll use it in the future. Then I realised I'd forgotten a couple of things so I called Rob D. Whilst chatting I mentioned I've had a few Sugi bars that broke early, IMO. Anyway, i received some good advice and I paid for the order. The package arrived today and was stuffed with expensive 'freebies'! This was an act of customer service that puts others to shame! I buy 75% of my bars and chains etc from Chainsawbars but now it will be 100% and SO SHOULD YOU!
  16. Excellent, glad to hear that mate. Sorry you got stuck though. All part of the learning process.
  17. Actually he means back home looking after the children whilst his wife tells him what to do next. Hahahha! 😜😜
  18. Then there is something wrong somewhere. Jonny, get this checked out by someone who knows Mogs before something really bad happens. Actually, Bob Aspenarb will know so it may be worth a drive up to his yard.
  19. Spruce. Popular at this time of year. The type that you get from Argos with the clip on branches.
  20. Sorry to detail Rob but it says on your website that you respond to WhatsApp and text messages before voicemail. Well you haven't replied to mine and I only want to buy something.
  21. That's quite the offer Mark, thank you. I'll be along later to park the boots.... ....right up your ass! 😂😂😂😂😂
  22. Erm, the point in time when their Managing Director threatened to charge you was the that point when you should have adopted a no more tolerance stance. Surely you have by now turned the tables and told them to deliver on their promise or face your legal consequences. After all, it apparently took them about three seconds to threaten you!
  23. Thanks. Ooo, It says they're a 'sporty looking boot' so that will surely make me a better climber, willn't it. 🙄🙄
  24. What he said.
