  1. I've had a 450 for about 4yrs and it's still very good. I bought it from Arbrep Services who have been excellent with spares etc and even sold me the machine for a better price than Predator UK! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I'd choose the Jensen A540 over the Timberwolf as it's built to be stronger and chips bigger stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  4. Can't help you at all Jon but did you notice the Austin Allegro in the back ground. The '80s really could be cruel, dishing out cars like that. My dad bought a Maxi. Mega legroom in the back but so ugly you vomited before every journey! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. I didn't know Meindl do half sizes. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Have you decided what to get? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Agreed. I put it on here in the hope that more people would see it quickly as Friday is only a few days away. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. No you don't as you've never met me and know nothing about my business. Why do you feel it appropriate to mess this thread when all I need is help on Friday? Idiot. The freelancer let me down and I only discovered he'd gone on holiday because I messaged him to say bring a long rope because it's a tall tree. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. No he doesn't know a damn thing. He's never met me, knows nothing about my business or my staff. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. That's not at all useful, dummy. I had a freelancer booked in and he has forgotten about the booking and gone on holiday. It has nothing to do with 'enticing' or money. I simply need a good person for a day on Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. I've just been let down so I'm desperate for an extra person on Friday this week (3rd March). Groundie or climber is fine. Job is between Gatwick and Horley and is an easy one to finish the week with. It will be an early finish, guaranteed. Please call me on 07834 414271 Thanks Al. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. I've got the Andrew Quickstep which looks similar. I've had them about 6 weeks. Sizing is like Airstreams. They're a bit stiffer because of the Quickstep thing but fine for climbing. Appear to be very well made. I bought them from Treekit who were great with advice. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Try the Pfanner Protos. It's very adjustable inside, in more ways than are visible at a glance. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Good to see the Captain hook being used. I nearly got one too then realised that by throwing the tail of my rope through my destination and the groundie making a wrap round the tree trunk I could achieve the same, only quicker, cheaper, faster, easier and without the risk of the Captain getting hooked on the wrong thing.
  15. Google echotoolsuk. BTW, in time you'll find the Echo to be a superior tool to your Stihl. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. I need an extra pair of hands on Monday if anyone is available. Climber or groundie. Job is in Reigate. Thanks Al 07834 414271 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. That's a bit excessive Stefan! I'm fairly sure they have a special little delicate tool for making the hole on the putting green! Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Wheel looks small. It would have to be r/c for me to even consider it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. Sounds like the sheath is 'attached' to the core in that area. Manufacturing fault maybe?? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. See, I've had Zingit and found the waxy stiffness to be a tangling hell. I've found Dynaglide to be much better. However, I write this having just had five consecutive failed Dynaglide shots due to the dreaded birds nest! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Thought so but just wondered as I don't have one. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. I'm just curious but is the Akimbo supposed to be oriented that way round Matty? I thought the 'beaks' should be facing away from you. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I've never heard that myth. I got my last two chippers from Arbrep Services who did a terrific deal but I wanted to go with them as I know how good they are with after sales service. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Well I've got one and no problems with it. Didn't have any problems with my two previous Jensen either. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Yes lots of people do. It's a really good machine. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
