    I'm felling a Coast Redwood in Reigate on the 28&29th. Access is good for any vehicle. I don't want any of the timber. It's twin stemmed from 5ft. One stem has diameter of 3ft @ 7ft above ground.     I was TOTALLY sold on this, until a few days ago. I was in my local Husky dealers shop and he had just been on a demo day. He said the battery will last 35 minutes, on stand-by. It will cut for 7 minutes. SEVEN?!! Now, I may be missing the point here and I know each cut lasts only a few seconds but it sounds a bit iffy to me. Any comments from those that have used it? My dealer did confirm that it cuts as well as a 200t.

    No, I bought the Echo as a second saw a couple of years ago and have hated it because it cuts so slow. I was using it on this job because it had a 14" bar and I like to run it occasionally so the fuel doesn't go bad. Two weeks ago I changed to a 12" Oregon bar and now it's as good as an MS 200t. The job took three days with very few breaks for tea.

    I think the Tripod ladders are better beacuase they are lighter and you can stick the single leg into the hedge if required. My Tripod is infinitely better than my traditional four footed steps.

    Thanks for the replies about ground damage. It's what I expected. The problem I'm faced with us that I am a one truck business.     19mm Polydine. The only reason I bring out the GoPro is on high risk jobs. Overhead & underground services, buildings, very dodgy trees, crane/ MEWP jobs etc. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Having spent years working in hot climates I would not recommend it. Think about it. Endless summer means endless heat. Not good in a physical job. That's only my feeling though. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
