  1. Talking Elm Tree Services provide Domestic and Commercial arboricultural services from our office/yard which is based just outside of Norwich. We are currently looking for a new member to join our team initially, we can offer 2-3 days a week as a contractor, with the aim to expand our operations. Ideally we are looking for a minimum of a Second climber abilities (CS30,31,38 and 39 or equivalent) with a driving license. We would however welcome experienced climbers and can offer training to the right candidate. We also provide arboricultural consultancy services, so if you are suitably qualified ( level 3 +) and interested in gaining experience working in that environment ( CAD / Data acquisition training will be provided), that would be beneficial for all parties concerned. I have over 6 years experience in the industry and my NPTC tickets cs 30,31,38 and 39; a degree in Arboriculture and I am a Certified Lantra Profesional Tree Inspector. I can also come with my own gear ( truck, chainsaws, blower etc). I have the software and the knowledge /experience to carry out BS5837s, mortgage reports and tree safety reports if required. Im in Germany at the moment and my company are looking for climbers however we are based a bit further north near cologne but do have work near Hamburg, so they may be able to base you up there... Let me know if your looking... the work here involves long hours and lots of travelling however they are good blokes i am working with...

    <p>I am planning on moving to Norwich, and am currently looking for work as a contractor. I have a BSc in Ecology and an FdSc in Arboriculture and have been working in the industry for the past 5 years. </p>

    <p>I am 28 years old and hold my NPTC tickets cs 30,31,38 and 39 and have recently qualified as a Proffessional Lantra Tree Inspector. I am currently living in the south of France and working as a climber. </p>

    <p>I own a full climbing kit, chainsaws, hedgecutters, a pick up truck (However unfortunately I cannot drive until June) etc, which I am happy to bring along if required. I have family based in Norwich (the Earlham Road) and am looking to move back there .</p>

  11. My uncle in south Africa ( swaziland )is headmaster at an agricultural college and they use some recently developed tree paint from the US( can't remember the brand but will find out!) . He has had amazing results with it , it's not like the damaging stuff from the 80s but actively encourages codit and occlusion of the wound , he mentioned that it used growth hormones... However water does not cause rot but acts as a barrier to most pathogens so don't worry about the cavity filling with water ...
  12. Heath field could be ok ... As the local council place closes at 1 on a Saturday ( north farm) ... In Brighton before I sorted out a regular place it varied but £25 was the average ( kps) and then they would make money out of the compost ( daylight robbery ; ) . I did eventually find a farmer who was happy for me to tip in exchange for the wood ...
