  1. You know we can and have done !!! but nothing like a 300tdi with a vnt the noise on the intact side is something else when it wants to guzzle the air !
  2. We can and have made 200tdis and 300tdis very torqey We fit a VNT turbo unit and uprated intercooler and radiator to them and the 130 is reguarly fully loaded and towing fully loaded ifor too so gross of 7 tonnes and just keeps going The gmc 6.2 is too heavy tbh the cummins lump is such an ars* to fit and the perkins conversions are outdated the other ways to go are the mazda or isuzu routes but ALSO LOTS OF WORK TOO OH AND THE EXHAUST IS ON WRONG SIDE ON MOST JAP LUMPS LOL ! opps hit caps lock sorry !
  3. Well late rather than never ! 2 points i would only fit a Richards chassis and hell i have fitted a few now no issues even The first Disco 2 chassis to come from any manufacture! Have fitted a marslands one wont be doing that again if i can help it ! 2, painting Galv you need to etch the surface with something called mordent solution otherwise most paints will not stick to the surface properly for any length of time and hammerite is one of the worst for this and also hammerite today is nothing as good as it was. David

  6. the only good mirror arms to use with the wide bodys are the rapier type ambulance type which are like truck ones mount to top and bottom of the upper door ! the long arms from LR or any after market wobble and vibratge to much ! the rapier type are unfortunatly rare as rocking horse excrement !

  10. should have slowed down ! cant drive out of a snake as easily as slowing down least slowing down you will have less energy to send you round and trust me i know i have had the pleasure of snaky loads before and slowing down 99% time brings it back in line ! lucky you got away with it maybe look at the loadings etc can drasticly affect the behavior of a trailer having the weight in the right places ! and yes HATO'S or motorway wombles as we like to call them wanna be traffic fuzz but arent ! so act more analy than the noce Traffic Cops !

  14. i have just converted 2 tonnes of green oak into 6 bulk bags (builders) and still have about a bag and half of big stuff to split and bag ! the builders bags are over .75m3 and under 1 m3 and there full right up !
  15. the 300 tdi will survive a cooked head BUT if its been properly cooked the blocks suffer to the point you can deck them and fit new heads but that engine will always suffer from premature head failures or never be a good runner ! the heat knackers the block ! the air lock can occour if its not filled and blead correctly ~! thats why there is a bleed/ filler ontop of the thermostat housing and the rad ! the header tank is at the same levelk as the stat housing !
