  17. Winter grade fuel should stay the same if you specify you want winter grade they will use a sutuably anti gelling agent and as the bio part will be FAME fatty acid methyl ester it will have had the glycerine replaced by methoal in the reaction process and it the gylicerine which causes the most issues with gelling of bio fuuel at low temperature !
  18. Right Ta i stand corrected ! I think for the people out there who use red or white for different things the simplistc answer will be yes to a point untill they get the supplies etc sorted ! As an aside we used to buyt gas oil for the boilers at work were now on to a fuel called ultra 35 which is a blend of bio and gas oil for heating its a pale redyellow colour! Its all change on the fuels front i guess with the push to more "green" fuels !

  23. As tommer has said i believe people are interested in more facts as they can then go look at there own kit and see if there is any issues which may have been overlooked ! A near miss or a failiure is something no one wants to have or experience but your openness to post this near miss will have opened up peoples eyes to giving there own stuff the once over before they use it next time and the extra info asked for just makes it clearer as to the faliure of the wire and other things to look out for i dont elive anyone would openly or inprivate bellitle you stuff happens you were good enough to post a warning
  24. Andy i use many forums and most follow the same guidelines as here to a greater or lesser extent and most will offer a warning Via PM to the offenders if the issue isnt ad enough to warrent a total imediate ban does this also happen here ? Maybe i shoudl re read the rules and will have answered this myself !
