  3. My Gardener Denver 135 mewp developed a fault on site, it would only boom up and tele in so I had to turn the emergency key inside the cabinet to get it down. Now the fault lamp on the base is lit and boom up and tele out don't work. Has anyone got any advice? Is there any way to reset the fault code?

    Which Welder

    I found the gasless migs hard to weld thin steel, just kept blowing holes in the metal! So if you plan to weld car bodywork or similar I would get a gas mig.
  6. The bottom roller on my safetrack has stopped turning but when the machine is turned off it can be turned by hand. I'm guessing this means the splines in the roller have worn away? What's the fix? Complete new roller? Tia.
  7. Check out the chainsaw guys videos on you tube, I saw one recently where he was welding damaged crank cases and re drilling and tapping.
  8. I think the tops of mature spruce have too big a gap between the branches to make a nice looking xmas tree. Imo it will look shit! Cheap tho ??

    Still plenty of woodcock in Argyll. Seems a shame to shoot them after they have travelled all the way from Russia though.

    More Rigging

    Nice slick work as usual Reg. Do you ever get rigging rope damage when using rings for big stem pieces? With the rope running between the stem and the ring.
  16. Is no one using van based mewps (cherry pickers) for tree work?
  17. Who would you recommend for insuring a 5 ton sprinter mewp that is registered as plant? Roughly how much would it cost? Thanks.uu

  21. What weight can the transit and cabstar tow legally ?
  22. I was thinking this too, the naff logo is the only thing that puts me off the harness!
  23. I pruned a copper beach similar to yours quite hard years ago, just needs going over with the long reach hedge cutters once a year now.
  24. Check the solenoid valve for the rollers, my 327 ecoline rollers stopped working and that was the fault.
