  1. I'd be interested in it. Where are you based?
  2. All depends what type of work and where the bulk of your work is. For me its 4x4 and tracked chipper on 10x6 ifor tipper with chip box with tractor and grain trailer added for bigger jobs. Because I'm out in the country and can usually chip on site, trailed chipper and tipper would only work for me on about 5% of my jobs.
  3. Good old oregon Yukon s for me, QUALITY! ???
  4. Just use the stop bar to stop rollers till the revs build up. It might not even have stress control.
  5. Is there a bit of the ring missing?
  6. Do proper tirfors not use swaged ropes ? I've got cheap ace ones, always worked fine, use them for supports on the skyline and handle that ok.
  7. Ok for diesel but use a filter when filling from used drums, my tractor fuel line from tank to filter on engine was rammed full of little ribbons of plastic from inside of oregon chain oil drums! Took ages to clear.
  8. What about the husky x com defenders? Anyone tried them?
  9. I'm definitely going to the APF this year then ?
  10. I'm hoping for a 100hp 12inch safetrack ???
  11. Must be a wee trailed machine when you have a lineup like that of the competition machines??
  12. Exploding seats fitted when bikes not in use, blow the balls clean off them!???
  13. Nearly bought this lethal old thing years ago, really glad I didnt ?. https://youtu.be/12PvauAvd1g
  14. Our local tip charge £150 + vat per ton of green waste! They used to let us dump chip for free as all the local gardeners would come in and take it. Needless to say I dont dump there any more.
  15. Nice one, I wonder if part number 5019012-01 is still available? I cant find a bolt anywhere in my junk pile that fits.
  16. It's about 2ft long
  17. How do you know what size of greenteeth to go for?
  18. It's very light and the shaft is made out of alloy. I will try and find a bolt that fits it and try it out in the new year when I get back to the felling.
  19. Found this in the shed when I was having a clear out, anyone ever used one? It looks like it might be quite flimsy as the main hinge bolt is snapped. I'm guessing it was either very expensive when new or not much use as this is the only one I've ever seen?
  20. Very nice ?. Is it coming with a shear or grapple saw on it too? Be a handy machine for dodgey roadside trees and ash dieback.
  21. Even worse if he has cut one arm so bad he cant use it! Imagine trying to use two friction hitches with 1 hand ??.
  22. Carb cleaner might work??
  23. I dont have any tips obviously! Going by the state of my silky in the picture ??
  24. Very smart ?
  25. Yeah the swivel makes it slick.
