  6. I pruned a copper beach similar to yours quite hard years ago, just needs going over with the long reach hedge cutters once a year now.
  7. Check the solenoid valve for the rollers, my 327 ecoline rollers stopped working and that was the fault.
  8. That's the business! No clambering in over stuff to get something right up the front. What moneys in the bed slide part?
  9. Maybe he had the wedges at one side of the cut or the stem had heavy lean, or maybe just more decayed at one side of the hinge? See guys rocking stems by hand all the time, always makes me cringe!
  10. I'd like to get a bedslide for the pickup, looks like a slick way of getting stuff out the back.
  11. Its just another string to my tree work bow, I've no real interest in taking the rope access thing any further. Rope access guys I've spoken to say there is going to be loads of well paid work on the wind farms in the future, but you need alot of expensive certs for that kind of work. Loads of de veg work on the railways but its usually long hard nights! Never fancied it much myself.
  12. I did my level 1 irata a year ago and get regular subby work doing de veg on cliffs for a forestry contractor. Similar money to tree work.
  13. That's a great idea! Really simple too. Are we going to see an aspen arb blue truck with a chipper soon?
  14. Me too, seen a nice 4x4 merc for sale recently. Only thing they can't do is run a PTO chipper.
  15. Not agri registered ones anyway.
  16. I have a skyline winch but based in Argyll so no use to you. Maybe try asking at jas p Wilson, they will know contractors in the borders.
  17. Try and find skyline winch contractors, they will have plenty brash at roadside and I'm sure they will gladly sell it to you.
  18. Might just be a coincidence Stephen but Im always checking eBay for unimogs and IMO there are way more than usual.
  19. From what I've been told all fast tractors are going to have to have an mot.
  20. Thanks gray git, where did you get it from?
  21. Is that what you call included bark Huck?
  22. Has anyone on here got or tried the monkey beaver harness? Lots of good reports on youtube from August hunickes buddies! ? but I'd like to hear from someone impartial. Can you even get it in the UK?
  23. That is a beast of a grinder Bob! I've got an old trailed rg1635 but that thing looks much bigger!
  24. Don't suppose unimog owners will want the rest of us to know the reason for selling? ?. Maybe people are being forsed into o lisence with mogs and don't fancy the hastle?
  25. Nice wagon khriss, would love to see a chipper on the back of that! Series twos are great as long as your not in a hurry ?
