  1. It's all been bought by a local kiln dried firewood produce.
  2. 10inch is the preferred size around here we do other sizes cut from billits that range from 6inch up to 20 inch they incur an extra £10 a cube which covers the extra on cutting the bigger sizes but not the smaller ones.
  3. Same as anything thesa days you got to be in toit in a big way with the right kit to make any money. There are guys in Herefordshire making a very tidy living doing between 500 800 ton. I am not up near those figures but do make enough to reinvest and live hopefully next season will be the one that starts paying back.
  4. Out front mower iseki or kubota under belly non collect jd ferris skag collection iseki kubota or Gianni ferri. A lot of contractors over look Husqvarna mowers but the mower you pictured is a very good mower we had the little brother to it the rider 22 4x4 if I remember correctly. If I was buying an out front mower nowit would be an iseki or kubota tried and tested hold there value I was told this when I bought the rider but could not afford the extra money. Don't make the wrong choice as you will be sat on it a long time to get the money back.
  5. £10 a tonne up to 5 miles to 50 miles I've managed to get our supplier to use his lorry for a day last year he charged me £500 for the day.
  6. Don't be sorry some one stealing from some one is a crime. Some one advertising something then either not contacting you back after telling you about the product is messing you about and needs to be told so. That way they may think differently next time. Your comparing things that are polls apart. Any way I've said what I have to on this subject I'm out.
  7. That's not been rude that's been straight with some one. Two different things.
  8. Oh yessssss can't have enough Dave.
  9. Yes did you hound him to death though Jon
  10. I'll record that way I can watch it again and again.
  11. Dam did not realise that was back on travelling back home at 8pm might have to go later or record decisions decisions.?
  12. As far as I am concerned it good business to either get the offers and contact the highest offer or deal with the first guy that contacts you and answer the questions . I asked for a picture of the timber as I could not view it in person and offered to send lorry with cash for payment can not do more than that . Trying to double the amount of stock for next year is proving to be a complete PITA.
  13. Don't bother trying
  14. Paint the roof with pitch that's what the use to do years ago two blokes tied by a rope and work back down one one side one the other. Might be eager to hire a picker and use a roller and lapse it on.
  15. That's either photo shop or a pet:confused1:
  16. It's the same with everything in life you will get on with some and not others and like some and not others. Think one bloke is a cock while someone Elsa thinks he is a top bloke. I have not contributed to arbtalk as much as I would like to have always saying I am going to get pics of work pacific trees of interest around Herefordshire but never get round to it. Going to sign up to the firewood directory but never get round to it. I've had one negative experience on here and been caught for a few quid but Over all there has been many positive experiences especially in the last 12weeks when I mention to other people about it there shocked by how kind people are.
  17. Also have a farmi and very happy with it.
  18. Tragic the couple were looking forward to the arrival of there first child very sad
  19. Even if the woods free by the time he has taken it to yard split it stored it reloaded it and delivered there's very little left. The guy that's selling it wants to change his business model ie be realistic with his pricing why sell any commodity at less than 50% of the market price if he aimed for 80% he would still sell it. I personally could not care less about joe blogs down the road selling cheep I sell out every year and make reasonable money from it.
  20. I am going through a major claim with an insurance company at the moment and all though it can not speak highly enough of them if they can get out of it they will and if the road was closed because of flood that's negligence if they paid out at all it would not be in full.
  21. I think a lot of people run the engine at low revs it should be run at the top end to be as quick as a pto job. Mine uses around £7.50 over 10hours.
  22. Your table is pretty much the same as thor's design and there's is over priced nice job.
  23. The British side of McDonald's is run very different to the American side then as my brother works for cargills (sun valley) and they have very strict standards to abide by as do there suppliers of spuds and beef that are all supplied from local farms. In Hereford the McDonald's have there own guys clearing up the litter in high town. You do see there rubbish in the country side but that's down to brain dead idiots throwing it out. If caught they should get 200hours community service litter picking that would solve that problem. I am glad that there is a charity that house parents at all the major hospitals as when you arrive at a situation where your children are at risk it's a relief to be told you have a room as long as you want it and all the benefits that a hotel would provide we have been in there 86 days. I am lucky in that I can now afford to get a flat in the city some parents stop there two years.
  24. What dribble you talk
  25. Two things... Be carefully pulling it backwards as if you slip it would come over on top of you and pump the tyres up well to make it easier on yourself. I always try and move mine with a loader
