You are considering the environment the lorry is not coming back empty it's fsc so sustainable. I can put you in touch with a guy but timber and transport will need to be payed up front. Minimum of 100 ton. -
Looking for an hiab to mount on a 12 ft ifor Williams trailer any one out there got any helpful advice. Does anyone know of a half decent second hand one.

You are not going to find a processor for that sort of money. When I bought my first one I found they were not much cheaper than new. Ended up buying new as there was so much scrap out there.

I no hauliers taking stuff down there from Herefordshire Surrey and comming back with Larch.

Would it not be easier to source cord out of county and pay more in the transport.

Pretty much what I was going to suggest only had problems with mild in beech that was processed on a wet day and went in bags soaked. -
When I was a kid I spent my early teens with a game keeper who's hobby was long netting use to use oak cut from a tree to make pegs that's glowed faintly so we could see where to drive rabbits towards. Never really thought about it until I saw this post.

The whole chamber is slatted and does work but with the log cleaner in place it's really clean wood . The only thing that's annoyed me is that a log can get caught between the elevator and the cleaner and stop the elevator, Kilworth will sort it though.

No I just said it for fun. Don't you think I would base my decision to concentrate on firewood on volumes I have seen my self not what joe blogs reckons or what I read on the net.

At least that got 66 m3 bags out of 25 tonne of fresh felled ash.

Getting £130 an m3 here can't cut if fast enough to replenish stock if some mug wants to sell it for 85 let em carry on. If the phone keeps ringing like it is it will be £140 to be honest the more I charge the more the phone rings

To be honest the guys I buy my firewood off have new kit ie in the last five years there making money I am making money. Hardwood will go up because of miss managed woodlands and planting crap crops. Bio mass is also a problem train goes from Cornwall to chick once a fortnight last one they could not fill so buyer put hardwood destined for mill on. Also cutters are takin the piss and cutting more than they should hearing about it all the time.

That's about right for mixed especially if it's got lots of oak chestnut in.

Been in the same boat my farther had other conditions as well and age was against him the last thing he saw was my sons 20 week scan photo. Hope he I joys every minute of his money raising and will donate now.

The guy is not on arbtalk but regularly gets stick over it not when wife was in ear shot. Lots of used johnnies in the laylandie 3ft away from bedroom window..

Were charging 130 for a bag so give it a shake and stack it people are amazed at hi long it lasts once we get a customer they usually stay with us. The tajfun is the quickest processor I have used took a while to get used to it. The log cleaner is a must if putting straight in to bags.
