  4. Where did you get this info as when I have a lorry load of oak it's never full when I have a lorry load of ash it's stacked above the pins and only 25t . I can't believe the figures are correct.
  5. How are you getting that much from a tonne are you buying in very dry wood? I've had a driver who has scales on his grab drop a tonne of fresh cord by the processor and once split it makes 2m3.
  6. Nick I put my price up to £105 for new and 95 for reg for a single m3 or 2.4 for 200 if I went higher I would not sell. If I add everything in including paying back savings for kits I am probably making £50 a cube Are they all selling big quantity round you Nick ?
  7. It cost 50£ to 55£ to get cord in the yard 90% ash so I am getting 2m3 to a tonne if I had to pay 75£ I would not bother matter a fact if it hits 60 I'll be giving it up. If you payed 75 for beach you would only get 1.3 m3 to a tonne waste of time
  8. There either cheaper because it's free wood ie tree surgeons doing it on the side or there buying in a 1000t and need it to go quick so sell below market value. The cost of timber in my load is 25%. Unless I can find a bigger yard I'll be packing it in need to be turning a lot of timber over to make a good living. Plus it looks like I am building a house for the boy on my current yard
  9. Direct bank payment is the way forward IMO or bacs just takes time to show up.
  10. Crap news. Once you have got over the shock pull together as a family and fight it you have got the inner strength you just got to tap into it. Good luck Rich
  11. One week he is the cheapest selling low value product the next he is selling the finest wood for top dollar WTF. Just comes on here to get a reaction and wind people up. Ignore list may be.
  12. Freeze it and get down ae bright and early would be my advice if your taking diazepam be careful with codeine as taken together they can treble the strength.

  19. I was working at grow continental just outside Whitchurch in October. Don't know what engine they have but will find out they are also vintage tractor mad and import vintage gear from all over Europe and the states. Thanks for the offer of help will be in touch.
  20. Don't know yet john two of the people involved are doing the north run another doing 14 marathons calling it fourteen in fourteen for Freddie quite catchy and then we got a ball and are annual festival in June so we have to fit it in around this.
  21. It's still in the early stages of planning the route needs to take us via stafferton as some friends are organising a parachute jump for another charity. The only problem I can foresee is we all like a drink need a female to supervise.
