  1. First class mate really enjoyed looking through the pics :thumbup:
  2. Its getting harder to get i just ordered ours for next year and i have to take 100t of larch to get what i want. Mixed loads are the way forward.
  3. Just bought an Avant its the older model with metal body work. Will not pick it up until Nov but it looks ideal for what i want loading processor loading bags of firewood and tree work. Hope i made the right choice time will tell.

  10. And you think stihl made boots are going to be better?? They make great saws but cloths and boots are awful. If you wear hiflex as well you will look like a walking stihl advert.

  14. I got 3200 for my 8200 good little tractor.
  15. The only stuff that leaves our yard for under £90 is Arb arising and hard and soft mix.
  16. With reg clients the price remains the same. When a new client rings and there is 6 inch of snow my price goes up unless they were recommended. Good clients we have had for years get it £90 a cube new clients are £100 when winter comes it will be £120. I need a bigger yard so need to make the most i can this season.
  17. You beat me to it. Sharpen from one side and spin the chain around chain works a treat.
  18. Ive been thinking about what to do with the over size butts we are about to buy a bobcat so was thinking of a screw splitter for that or a big horizontal like the Bindenberger in the classifieds.
  19. Both as billets can be cut to size for people with different size stoves.
  20. Jim the drive sprocket on mine can move along the pin its situated on so when you take the chain off it just pulls off nothing to lock it in place. Is this right.
  21. That is strong money in our area there is quite a lot doing it so it drives the price down.
  22. How are you going to get 26t of seasoned wood on one lorry??????
