  1. If someone gave you negative feedback without a good reason, I think you have a right to give them some grief. I bought some records of a guy a while ago, after being accused of not paying at first, then having to email once a fortnight to ask if he has sent them, getting a "sent them yesterday reply", then getting them in worse condition than described. I gave negative feedback instantly as he had lied to me and fobbed me off. He offered me a full refund and get to keep the records if I removed the negative feedback. I told him I wouldn't be bought as he has skanked me on numerous aspects, and has evidently done this to others. He has now left me negative feedback as I am hard to deal with apparently. Wish I replied to his feedback in the way the geezer did on ebay.
  2. We recently ran a scheme where a small group of our anglers were allowed to earn their annual memberships in return for carrying out a few tasks. These were removing snags from the lake, opening up swims and surfacing. There was also the requirement that they would fill 3 muck trailers full of logs. Our muck trailer holes approx. 3 x £100 loads. Anyway, there were these two lads that shirked for the whole time they were there. If you didn't remind them to start working again they would just stop after exerting themselves for 3 minutes. Proper pain in the backside. I reminded them that if they didn't pull their weight that they wouldn't get their ticket; they can stand around and do nothing as long as they like, it just means that they are indebted to us for longer. On the last afternoon I had to run a few errands and left the group splitting. I came back and all the wood that we had rung up was split. I knew that some of the group worked much harder than others. I asked the harder working ones whether the aforementioned duo had pulled their weight, and was told that they had. The person who told me wouldn't lie about this, he would have been the first to complain about them sitting on their arses. So i gave them all their fishing tickets, most of the group had worked hard and properly deserved it. I wasn't really satisfied though that the duo had worked hard enough but put it in the back of my mind. About 4 hours later, one of the anglers had seen the pair plus another one of their mates from the group walking out of our yard with a large net of logs each. My assistant who lives 2 minutes away went and found them and booted them out of our woods. They had walked about half a mile through the park carrying bags of logs, into the woods. There is no end of material to burn up in the woods and I am not especially bothered about small under control fires as that is what I did when I was young. But to steal from us after we have given them a membership in return for sod all labour, proper gets on our tits. Police were called the next day. They said they would look into it but nothing has happened. They are banned from the site now. If I see them again, their tackle is going in the lake.
  3. Pseudomonas syringae?
  4. Christ!
  5. Honestly feel free to belittle it all by saying we didn't wear Hiflex trousers.
  6. Gumshield, 14oz gloves, wooden floor. t-shirt and jogging bottoms, trainers. no mats apart from for one specific part of breakfalling, which was weird, as really didn't need it. gloves were only worn for the 3 vs 1 bit. Technique was minus them.
  7. Just done my P2 today, which is the second grade. full contact sparring 3 vs 1 was a highlight. waiting around to be tested was a pain in the backside. concluded with 75 pushups, 150 situps, banged them out no problem, impressed myself. boooooom.
  8. I prefer "rats cocks".
  9. Check to see if they are covered within a conservation area.
  10. Used a Sony W995 for the last year and half. Has been a pucka phone. The camera on it was ace, with an alright flash and 8megapixel camera. It was a normal keypad which slid out. The screen was fairly small strong. When I came to upgrade last week, I was disappointed that phones with good cameras on that looked slightly sturdy, needed the handset paying for or going on a £45 contract. Ended up jogging them all on and getting an iphone 3gs for £22.50 a month. Just to see what all the hype is about.
  11. "Look out!"
  12. Sounds familiar.
  13. 30 although I still get ID'ed.

Mental rain/thunder/lightning in north London on Saturday afternoon. Had just come out the Spurs game and on route to Acton when the heavens opened. Was hoping it was doing the same at work seeing as we have recently sown a new field. Would love some rain down these parts, we're gasping!
  16. Quality!
  17. 4th picture down. Please tell me that was in a zoo.
  18. Would prefer to have dealt with that sort of incident away from the home and lockup. Would be much less likely to properly defend property there as they know where to come back to after they've had their hiding.

  20. I used to work on heathland in east Dorset. I grew up in that area and have always had it around me. It is a source of so many arguments that result in stalemate situations. <edited as after reading up to last post, realised I had duplicated what everyone else had said>
  21. I'll look in my logpile tomorrow. We did remove a small amount of hornbeam recently. The diameter might be achievable. I'll let you know.
  22. What sort of volume are you after? Might be able to help you out. Based in Havant.
  23. level load on an ifor trailer, me and an axe, <1hr.
