    Smoothies

That's a good idea, bung in some yoghurt. Maybe that can go in instead of the ice-cream for me. Or maybe I'll keep the icecream. It is cold after all, and very much ice and creamy.

    Smoothies

Tuna in a smoothie is dedication. Next you'll be bunging sardines in brine and whey in a blender then bunging the liquid filth in a sodastream and shove an umbrella in the top.
  5. And a recent tune to finish off: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZlqweiH_2E&feature=related]YouTube - Clipz - Push it Up[/ame] In context at around 3:40... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLOGs7FsOkQ&playnext=1&list=PL960831512F03E372]YouTube - KSS - 25/8/07[/ame]

  8. Leeds Warehouse Mix is a pucka tune. Can never get tired of that bassline. With regards drum+bass, I've been listening to it since 1995 when I used to listen to One in the Jungle, on Radio1. I remember some banging sets from Swift with Navigator. Much preferred the format to the Fabio and Grooverider show. Around 1997-8 I went to Cocoshebeen, upstairs at the Opera House, usually when Slinky was on. The residents were pucka, DJ Deep and Shafie. Lost count of who I saw there. Went to Destiny a few times. Went to a Formation do for new year in around 1999/2000 or year after. SS, APB, possibly Twisted Individual, can't remember who else. By around 2002 I had grown tired of d+b, it had become boring. I got onto the illegal rave scene and got into techno in a big way. Partied all around the south from Cardiff Brains Brewery in a blizzard to the Sanctuary a week after it closed (although got turfed out by OB about 5mins after first rig turned on). Loved the multiriggers around Thames Valley. Always enjoyed finding someone playing decent drum+bass as opposed to double-dropping BodyRock and rewinding 12 times. The party in Holborn at Halloween 2010 was tonking, some proper good jungle coming out of some really big systems (not to mention the shear quality techno systems). Recently got back into 1998 era jump-up. Have a look at the following links. There's d+b, techno, hardcore and more. The "Squatrocking" series is worth a go for techno.. He writes interesting essays to accompany his mixes: Pearsall presents Firestorm at Sonicrampage Pearsall presents Urban Takedown *NEW* at Sonicrampage All 1 In The Jungle Sets: IRONMAN'S DNB TAPEPACK SICKNESS: 1 in the Jungle Look around the "tapepacksickness" site for bare drum and bass. Best one is: IRONMAN'S DNB TAPEPACK SICKNESS: EUPHORIA JUNGLE FLAVOUR '95 Also look for the Renegade Hardware ones. They are heavy like sack of spuds.
  9. I'd be more worried if she was going to a Dancing Bear party.
  10. Before I read the story I was led to believe the memorial was being removed and chucked down the tip. As it's merely being moved, I have no issue whatsoever. We can't live in the past. How many layers of history have been covered up by necessary development so far? Loads. Needs to be done really. Crack on boys!

    Smoothies

(I'm not a climber but this seemed the most appropriate forum to use so I bunged it here, feel free to move). I've started getting bang into smoothies since I started upping my training. I'm lazy when it comes to eating in as much as I can't be bothered to eat much, although what I do eat is mostly good stuff rather than hoof and eyelid meat-like grill. As a result, I've tried putting 3 of my 5 a day fruit in a smoothie (although I understand that once liquidised, it no longer counts more than 1 of your 5 due to it being too smaller pieces or something, therefore you lose out on the roughage??). So, I bung in: A banana, handful of strawberries, handful of blueberries, 12 brazil nuts, handful of oats, scoop of icecream, naughty naughty! 500ml semi-skimmed. I blend it until you can still chew on the nuts when you come to drink it. I have one before work, then one after the gym, although I usually lose the strawberries and blueberries. It tastes pucka. I'm thinking of bunging in raw egg but am worried that it will taste gack. I would cook the eggs like a normal person but like I said, I'm lazy. Massively lazy when trying to get gear together for work. What's your smoothie of choice?

I've nuked it with Roundup Biactive. What sort of size area are you looking at covering?

  15. We've been thinking about using locked stillages for storing in the car park at work. If the customer goes and pays for the logs in the shop they get get combination for the lock and can go and load themselves up.
  16. Bung some roundup in it to speed it up. I am impatient and demand to see the fallen over pictures asap!
  17. Issue I see is from some jobs with salaries of less than £20,000 requiring a degree as "essential". Often the top of the pay scale will still be below £20,000 with no realistic opportunity to progress beyond it. That is when tuition fees are poo.
  18. "Can you just....." for the last few jobs has been remove piles of garden waste. One of them was "this pile here" which then turned into (on following day) a huge but loose pile of elder by and on our cordwood pile. Todays "Can you just....." was pile of beech leaves and twigs at far end of a garden. It was after they made me a roll and about 20000 cups of tea though so was happy to oblige. ave had "do you think you'll get it all split today?" after we'd quoted for just going to ring up and stack. Not a chance. There was in excess of a million tonnes ringed up.
  19. Hi there! Doing this off my phone so hope it sends just the once! Bordon is perfect. My number is ************* Thankyou for your help! Adam Cant seen to private message from my phone

  24. What causes snaking apart from loading on the rear of the trailer? I say this as I first had it on an evenly loaded log delivery. It was great fun, soon as I hit 55mph. Rest of journey I did at just under 50. I assumed it was a combination of trailer and all terrain tyres on the (courtesy car) Defender. But, then a colleague had the same vehicle when her usual vehicle was in for safety checks, she got the snaking unloaded, at 65, and whacked it into the central reservation. She got grief for it and was told she had crashed as she was a "silly girl". I ended up with the vehicle again shortly after and sure enough it was rolling from side to side at 40mph. Luckily I was ready for it and just snaked my way down the A3. Why on earth would it do this without a trailer?
