We just uncovered this behind a fence that we need to replace. It’s got to come out but would like an idea what it is please? Leaves are very much like privet but never seen one as big as this?

Hi rob, your books will finish April 5th 2019 and should be submitted after that date and under current rules tax to be paid by 31st jan 2020 (as far as I’m aware) Moves are underway to make all submissions digital every 3 months so worth keeping up to date with what hmrc are doing. A good accountant will save you more than they will cost you!

Coracten tablets on prescription help my reynauds- not a cure but certainly helps. Gold leaf dry touch gloves ok till they get soaked through, winter touch when the temp really drops but not good for climbing

Even if there were twice that amount of logs left for the op, it doesn’t change the fact that it was probably over double the cost it should have been. always get more than one quote and get recommendations

I was a bit peeved when it happened initially, but just price it in on quotes to building firms now. Accountant gets all the cis vouchers and calculates what’s been paid so in effect the tax bill at year end is a bit lower ?

I use wax or 2/3coats gloss paint, many recommend pva glue and I store anything for turning a minimum 3 years in outbuildings with airflow

Solo workers night out not much fun! December always too busy working on the doors till 3am fri/sat so the doorfirm Christmas night out is in January when it’s quieter.

Bulldog or similar wheel clamp, hitch lock, security chain round axle through a recessed ring in concrete right underneath to make access harder - all these will at least make it more difficult for them and the noise should wake you! glad they didn’t get away with it, thieving scum!!!!

Gave up using Hermes as on average they were losing or damaging one in ten parcels! Too stressful continually chasing them to make claims so now use either ups or dpd for anything over 2kg. Lighter stuff goes Royal Mail Signed For

Too right they don’t! Tried that with guy in high viz stopping a cyclist down a very quiet country lane as I dropped a conifer limb avoiding a bt line. Cyclist just went round him saying “oh it’s ok” - missed him by about 5 feet or half a second!
