  1. Hi Stere, thank you for your comments.. In regards to "Are you saying they stole some of the logs?" I'm not too sure! as you said, it was expensive and I feel I have been ripped off in regards to cost, I just thought there would be more logs to balance things out! The photos aren't the best and they have weathered a bit but the back tree was pretty large...
  2. Luckyeleven I am with you guys and understand how clients can be (aka me) as its not my field of expertise. i have been really decent but Its rubbish when you get a bad experience.
  3. Thank you for your response! from your experience, if they didn't fully chip to the max, how many logs would you expect to get as they did indicate there would be more!
  4. Hello Arbtalk, I have a bit of a strange question! I have recently had a bad tree surgery experience ? I hired a tree surgeon to remove 3 trees (cherry tree 35ft high, damson tree 20ft & pear tree 20ft) I was charged £1000 but I requested they left the logs for firewood to balance the cost. But to my shock the job didn't even take a day and they only left a tiny pile of logs and about 8 ton bags of chippings and lots of brushwood for me to clean up! I just wanted to ask your expert advice on how many logs you think roughly these 3 trees should have produced! Any advice or feedback would be good, I have attached a photo of the trees. Many thanks in advance
