  6. Hello, i need a groundie for 1 day possibly 2. It will be working near Tiverton Devon next week (which day is yet to be decided so i can be flexible). All ya gotta do is sned up and chip, no long drag to the chipper so easy peasy. The pay is excellent. please PM me for more info. Thanks, Ken.

it's a nightmare for me as i tink my pickup truck is only allowed to tow 1500kg and carry about 800kg in the pickup bed, but i don't wanna sell it or upgrade to something newer as i cannot afford to and i love my old wagon anyway ! so basically i'm running the gauntlet alot re. the feds.

  18. agreed i had toyos on a works Hilux and they were very good as we spent quite alot of time off road doing HV power line clearances in the middle of nowhere. dunno what the longevity of these tyres are though.
  19. Rover, sounds gr8, is it finished yet ? !
  20. Hello Newboy, i run an ifor williams (non tipping) 10' Long X 5'6'' wide trailer and tow it with an old low powered (bout 100BHP) 4x4 pickup truck. I too am going to upgrade to a tipping trailer as i have greedy boards on the my present one and forking it off at the end of a busy day ie; lots of chip is quite tiring especially if i have filled the pickup with chip too as it does not tip either. I'm going to go for the next size up which i believe to be 12' long X 6' wide as i also carry a small Greenmech chipper on the back end of the trailer and need all the space i can get without going too large on the trailer front as it'd be too big and easy to overload and stress me truck out plus it'd be illegal...
  21. smash 'em to hell.
  22. sell as spares or repairs.
  23. I have the older GMR100 and really rate it highly, the CS100 is even better me thinks as the engine is mounted in a better location and does not get covered in chip like mine does. I'm more than happy with a pull start only motor as it's only 14hp, the CS motors are more powerful and come with electric start.
  24. was it a used chipper or someone demonstrating a new model ?
  25. they fitted with a dual mass flywheel ?
