  1. the single cab 4x4 is quite rare, you had it from new ? must be worth 3.5-4k ?
  2. i messed about with a stihl MS200T 12'' & 14'' bars and they will not fit the Echo, i was just curious thas all !
  3. this gringo knows his Echo saws as that's eggsactly my experience with an Echo climbing saw. I really loike it.
  4. 360TES is still impressing me since i bought it some weeks back, it just gets better every time i use it. It's so good i'd buy another one if i had some spare wonga and have it pimped up.
  5. when i worked for KJ Thulborn many years ago we used to do roadside works and flood the site with bods who kept the large twin axle chipper going flat out and chipped into the back of a bin lorry which compacted the chip. twas a good setup.
  6. i run an ifor trailer and a Greenmech GMR100 (similar to a CS100) chipper which i ramp onto the trailer or onto the tub of my pickup. I have tried the Greenmech CS100 chipper and i'd love one as they are amazing.
  7. aye yer lucky yer not woolly, 4 legged and go BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA cos i'd be after ya then
  8. when is it ? i'm looking to go.
  9. Good job that man.
  10. wow is all i can say This is a gr8 thread and a gr8 truck. I really like your setup Peter, well done.
  11. yes i link was a bit twisted but i tweaked it true again, shud be ok i hope !
  12. saw is fine now. I did this bout 2 weeks ago. it's a 2007/8 365 special that looked like it had done very very little work when i got it. It's got a Hyway 75cc kit, ported and a muff mod all tanks to WisecoBandit. I love this saw.
  13. stuck into a 300KG oak butt. the roll pulled the allen bolts out of the wrap round handle but that was an easy fix and destroyed the bar again an easy fix... just buy a new wan:laugh1: Over all i got away very loightly. I do love this saw as it pulls a 24'' chain and bar with gr8 gusto when needs be.
  14. I bought one last week and done alot of climbing/dismantling and snedding with it already. £375 incl VAT with a 14'' bar/chain combo is excellent value fer money. Easy to start, has a primer bulb, the twin sided chain brake is a joy to use versus the older singled sided chain brake mechanism as fitted to the CS350 TES. It hardly needs choke to start but does take a minute to warm up before you can exploit the power and restarts when hot very easily, in fact i'd say it's easier to restart then an MS200T. The tool clip/loop appears to be very sturdy too but i won't be flinging it about all the same. The air filter stays cleaner then an MS200T's for longer too but i prefer the more robust Stihl type filter as Echo uses a white material that looks like you may have to replace it if it get's too soiled or 'worn'. The oil and fuel fillers are a bit small but you soon get used to them (Husky fuel spout will fit into the Echo fuel tank hole). It appears to be quite frugal. It is not a MS200T in terms of gutsy performance but is very very good and pulls the 14'' chain very well. I have removed the over restrictive spark arrestor from the zorst today which makes it sound 'ballsy' so will report back on any apparent performance gains when i next use it. It feels better to use than any MS201T that i have sampled before (a few), but i do accept there are some good/sorted 201T's out there it's just i have never seen or tried one and i have not tried the Husky 540XPT either. The reason i bought the Echo was, it has had some favourable reviews, and has a basic carb. with no auto tune or silliness, is value for money and seems well put together. It feels quite light and has easy to use controls, there are 2 different moulded palm pieces that you can swap over if one feels more bulbous over the other or you can run without one in place if you wish. So far so good. spark arrestor in place and removed
  15. Shavey does that not smell fishy to you ? read the questions the seller has been asked
  16. ahhh that cud explain alot. Ignore my PM for the moment and oil strip the carb again
  17. ya it was tricky to break away the 'cement' that sealed them together
  18. this very small piece of the carb (i'm pointing to it with the small screwdriver) fell out today when i was cleaning it in a bid to get my feckin' saw to start (i failed and gave up) i placed it back in situ but wondered what that small piece actually does as it seems to cover some tiny holes/jets ?
  19. more pics.
  20. tellous what the problems are ?
  21. Spud etc, you guys are correctamundo. I did it after 5 attempts when the missus said try winding it in the udder way round (opposite way to what felt correct) and she was correct too. Cheers, bays and gurl(s)

  23. Felix i'm wondering the same thing ?
  24. this is all i have done to my zorst.
  25. ok here is a pic of my recoil spring and side casing (2009 model MS200T) As the spring is 'S' shaped i can't see how it will all wind in ? Any ideas ?
