  1. so whas the deal then, is the RHD option going to be imported, yew gonna bring in the 4.5 V8 derv if there is demand ? Did you take any deposits at the APF.... alas my £49.99 was not sufficient so was spent elsewhere.
  2. Anyway didn't the Landcruiser bloke indicate they would be coming available in RHD or am i dreaming ? Toyota UK shud be bringing these in at a more realistic price and then spares and the associated backup, software wood give peace of mind.
  3. spotted on thursday driving into the APF show. it looks the part, still sporting the 'rag top'. was it you ?
  4. LOIKE:thumbup1:
  5. well i counted the cylinders on that landcruiser and it was only a 6 cylinder versus the latest 4.5L V8 which is awesome but can you imagine how much one of those would cost FFS !
  6. spotted it..... alas it's LHD and £46,000 which is just plain silly.
  7. lovely machines, if yew're wondering what the saliva/slobber residue is on each vehicle then it was me, i gave each one a good LICK as i wandered around in a hazy dreamloike state oogling the Unimog porn. Amazing workmanship on what has to be some of the best Arb trucks available.
  8. heading off shortly....excited as it's about time this ole dog learned some new tricks so i'm gonna buy a hitch climber setup and try out some SRT.
  9. funny silliness. i'd rather spend the money on a combi can though !

  12. looks loike i moight be goin on thursda' as i'm working sat. i'm eggsited as i've never been b4, going to bring £49.99 and see what i can/cannot afford.
  13. I regularly wash my 40m climbing rope and prussicks in the washing machine (have done do for many years) at 40 degrees with run of the mill washing liquid. It spins out at 1600rpm and comes out dry enuf to use straight away. To clean the steel core flip line i scrub with a stiff bristled brush and washing up liquid as this would smash the washing machine glass door. Brake cleaner or WD40 is good for removing sap from krabs etc.
  14. i beat you to it Joeblacky
  15. my understanding is that the 750kg refers to the groos 'all up' weight ie; the weight of the trailer and the contents within the trailer, so if the trailer weighs 250kg then you can only put 500kg into it. I also believe that if your vehicle can only tow 2700kg and you decide to tow around an empty 3500kg trailer you can potentially 'be done' for intent !!!
  16. so if the trusty Landy is going out of production what are they gonna replace it with ?
  17. glad ya enjoyed the wescht country.
  18. Hello Lyons E, i'm sure i spotted one of your vehicles recently in Devon, maybe?

  21. this coupled with manual front hubs (set to 4X2) saves yer clutch, gearbox and front tyres.
  22. The manual ones do come up on ebay so keep searching. Hiluxstihl i came over in 94.
  23. Just spent the last 20 mins on wikipedia reading about these large 'merican pickups. One particular 2015 model makes 440bhp and pulls bout 11 tons FFS !!!!
  24. ebay and Milner offroad for pattern parts ???
  25. not trying to poo poo yer motor but i'll be amazed if you get any where near 6k let alone £7-8k ! i do like them trucks, 3 ton pulling ability too.
