  11. From what I've read it's nothing to do with what sort of roof is on the conservatory. The solid roofs can weigh three times that of poly roofs. It's more about the integrity of the walls and footings also heat loss through SAP (I got lost reading this bit). I belive some councils also want soil tests doing. Or have I got it all wrong again? Dont think your far off the mark there Eggs

  14. Euroforest - Home Mead Ho, Farnham GU10 5HY 01420 23030
  15. SBK or Flail 2. Flail2 is for use in grassland and controls nettles and other woody plants so you would need to be careful near your trees
  16. Roundup not the best for nettles as leaves a vacumn and nature abhorres a vacumn
  17. Dont cut it down short, down to 6" if you have too and remove cuttings before treating or you will shield the target. If you cut it too low you will have to let it regrow as again no target
  18. Aye done that on father in laws drive, works well
  19. Ditto Huntly accident closed A96 near the Glens. Nowhere near 16 degrees at lunchtime today closer to 6
  20. Most diy stores will stock Round up as a concentrate to be diluted prior to use or as a RTU ready to use formulation. Some will come with their own spray applicator some will not, depends if you have access to a sprayer. Most of the sprayers will have a hollow cone type nozzle and are prone to drift so be careful of adjacent lawns and non target plants you want to retain (roses are particularly susceptable).
  21. Roundup or one its generic equivalents
  22. htb

    Distel

Try knot guide at the top of the page, maybe need a longer E2E or different manufacturer
  23. Not a problem, yes we all need to keep up to date whether trees or spraying.
