  3. Nope, cleaning the soil off the trunk, saves sharpening
  4. Well done, but remove the pegs they hurt if it all goes wrong.
  5. Carry it in a rope bag with shoulder straps, or flake it into a small rucksack, keeps it out of the way ready for use if you needto descend ina hurry

  9. Straight swap on mine, also put hedge cutter onto telescopic pole pruner, now thats a back breaker but needs must sometimes. The shaft diameters are the same
  10. Stihl long reach hedgecutter, take the head off and put chainsaw head from a polesaw on, or soc says buy combi one
  11. Done the same about 10 yrs ago, still swaying in the wind now

    Hi Rob, Just a note to say thankyou. Bar and chain landed in aberdeenshire today.
  13. Inverurie garden centre sell the mowers, dont know if they keep blades in stock
  14. Got some seedlings growing in the garden from seeds we picked up, nice tree
  15. Dont bother not that good. Better to learn how to sharpen properly, will save time in long run as normal chain (semi or full chisel) cuts quicker.
  16. If you check with FR Jones, I my memory serves me right they are organising courses in tayside. Or you could try ringlink

  18. Bottom left one lets the side down, needs a good clean (prob done the most work).
