Roads aren't that bad its just they drive like old women. Mind you they drive like idiots around aberdeen area, all the gear but no idea. Seems to be the countries biggest concentration of top range Audi's, Imprezas and Range Rovers not to mention the Porches Ferrrari and Maserati's

Try Timberel or Roundup as a stump treatment

Take a long 5mm set screw put a plain nut on right up to the bolt head, then 2 penny washers or a thick washer. Screw into oil pump then screw nut down till washers contact casing.then hold bolt and wind nut down which will draw oilpump back out. Alternatively split head down and chap down the drive gear, this will fubar the oil pump but it will get it out. i think it is a 5mm thread on the oil pump butcould be 4mm, senior moment

prob broken earthwire on switch easy to recrimp. take screw out of stop switch and remove lever before taking handle appart, or bits will be everywhere. split handle take photo of insides to aid reassembly. check wires to switch one will have prob broken. good luck

560 on 20", 395 or 660 on 28". Depends on what trees you work on. I go 14" 200t, 20" 372 and then 30" 660,

Sounds like you need a third pair of hands as said before, to ease your learning curve.

Pulley saver can be replaced with a cambium saver or like. If you do not have one of them once you get to your work possition choke your main line round trunk with running bowline use figure of 8 to descend if you need to backed up with a prussic knot, practice this low and slow until you get used to it.
