  1. If set as per disco no problems. Fan belt drives off crank drive water pump and powersteering pump. The power steering pump has another pulley and drives alternator via another short fan belt. If you charge it and jump start should have no probs getting home, if you minimise electrical use, how far do you have to go. I have done over 500 miles before with no alternator. Rev counter if fitted will not work as well. Have fun

    Could be round here. Have you met my neighbour, wears chaps and ties his horse to a rail.

  6. Nice on a 20", but have run it with a 28" but not very exciting, but needs must at the time.
  7. When i do tpo applications, I include applic in price of job, but on understanding if customer goes with someone else they will get bill for me carrying out application
  8. Business miles is £0.45 per mile for 1st 10/000 miles then drops to £0.25 per mile, this includes all costs fuel/ repairs/depreciation etc. Just done my returns yesterday. Happy days.
  9. Fitted a H2 panel to link up our Rayburn and oil burner 5yrs ago, brilliant piece of kit would deff recommend it.

  12. Could well be. I assumed fungi was affecting(blocking) water transport and the tree died of drought much like DED
  13. Had the same on one 2 yrs ago in Torphins. One trunk showed same symptoms, removed it customer wanted to retain rest of tree, wood was very dry. Next year rest of tree sucomed. Never found out the fungal cause, look forward to daves reply

  15. Not a very nice thing to do, similar to other thread about contacting applicants for TPO and conservation area works once they are on the public lists. You do the leg work for no return. It sucks
