  1. Agree polycut strimmer blades last longer if soaked overnight in water
  2. Quite often take chipper on trailer . Ball hitch on landrover front bumper, reverse chipper onto trailer one l/r wheel up ramp, unhitch and bobs your uncle. Do it also with part load of chip on way home. Loads with ifor off vehicle, handbrake on, chock wheels, loading jacks down and away you go

  11. Thinking of refurbing chipper TW 150 as its showing the ravages of road salt. I will strip it down to before taking it.I was thinking of getting the chassis and panel work shot blasted and the painted. Now shot blasting to get it steel ball blasted,bit harsh imo, or aluminium oxide ?. Painting what sort normal paint, oil rig paint or plastic coating ? Your opinions please and any approx costs to blast prime and top coat

  22. Sorry missed the first climbing kit bit a sj may notbe best, mind you a bit of deadwood sliding down between your ropes can be interesting with a zig zag.
