  4. Hi guys I'm currently doing my level 2 arb Doing the forestry and ecology unit at present,managing ancient woodlands And stuck on a couple of things ,so here I am bending ears! I need 2 key principles of managing ancient woodland.? Probably sounds easy,,but I really have gone blank!! Any info would be very much appreciated Cheers Shaun

  7. Ah yeah i have seen guys take up the main line,some times double wrapped around the stem, and flip up along with the flipline,

Hi guys I am a newbie here, but this site has been highly recommended to me A little about me I am a carpenter/ joiner, I was made redundant a while ago, so perhaps has made me go for another trade! Have always been keen to do tree surgery, so have done some training and have got May chainsaw maintenance and cross cut and felling tickets ntpc. What I am really after is to gain some valuable experience I live near gillingham in dorset, and I am looking for some part time or occasional work with a local company, but would be happy to travel within a reasonable distance If anyone out there has some work or can point me in the right direction,it would be very much appreciated Thanks in advanced

Hi guys I just wondered if anyone out there has any part time or occasional work Just a little bit about me I am a carpenter / joiner and was made redundant a year ago Have always fancied getting into the tree surgery So have been re training have recently got my nptc maintenance and cross cut Also felling up to 380mm and I am doing my medium fell in 3 weeks. So I really like to gain some valuable experience. I live near gillingham in dorset but happy to travel within reason
