  1. my dad was in the r/e missed d day by four days (due to age) got assigned to a Canadian regiment went across a fortnight later through Belgium Holland then Germany building pontoon bridges across the Rhine at Colon he said Churchill was in the next pontoon one day when they came under attack, wife farther was in the navy then the black watch, her uncles one in Sisely another in Africa another was a pow on the Burma railway
  2. in agri you can tow 2 empty trailers but only one loaded Eb a dollie and a Attic trailer counts as 2 trailers so tow it empty but not loaded
  3. the ministry used to store them in a place not far from me and they drove them round the compound once a week to prevent them from getting bits seized and the oil and fluids circulating including the diffs so if its been stood for a few years be careful

  17. just got our new y/p delivered today looking through the appropriate sections no one local, it is possible it will be the last time i look at it till the next one comes. i think it will be a waste of money to advertise with them unless you are prepared to travel 20 miles to give a quote and not get the job

  19. i have used a earlex but the over heat used to cut in after a coupple of panels. i have used a 8lt pump sprayer with good results but had to thin the normal water based fence paint down by half which makes it into the sprayable paint that you pay twice the price for. you might have to give it two coats depending how long ago it was painted. just use a flat peace of cardboard for the over spray. make shore you give the sprayer a good clean after use
  20. also if you are using a divided trailer after tipping out the back load you might be over weight on the draw bar
  21. for the saplings try tree guards they provide protection from the Weather and animals
  22. husky for me reliable set it to any angle use a sihl now and again Pre set angles and heaver
  23. make shore their's a spare wheel with it
  24. also this winter with the prolonged easterly winds and the cold temperatures the roots were not taking any water but the winds were drying out the branches as a result there has bean a lot of die back
  25. i would give you some good beer money for it if you was closer
