    Red wine

ok -first what a fantastic honest response from you chaps- there seems to be a correlation between making a living from with in the canopy of a tree and having a glass or two of red wine or tin or two of beer at the end of a day, i tend to feel better the next day having had a drink the night b4 as i sleep better that night, when i get home from work i tend to feel like iv been run over by a truck , does any one else feel like that or is it my age? soon as i get in i crack out me jobs and try to go to the gym then have me meal and wine, its the same every night, the next day im ontop of the world again.
  10. Sorry about the marriage mate and the chain strike on the wellys you must be gutted, id like to help out but i only where trainers when cutting and up trees, keeps you on your toes a bit , but good luck with the search, try ebay.

  17. I,l be the first then ,i am a jap sympathiser, iv had loads of hi luxs and l200 old and new and old landys from ser one up to 200tdi Disco, best truck ever u1200, but i now have a new puma which is just over 1 year old, Hi cap HD, Lots of faults in the first 6mths, but i am now really happy with it, it takes loads of abuse. I will also go as far as to say that i think its as good comfort wise as any jap truck, it will out work a jap truck all day long and i think the reliability issues have now been sorted , how bowt that then ,Its like a Landrover, but nothing like a Landrover, thats how i best discribe the puma.

  22. Hi mate, be prepared to work really HARD, im 49 and still shock myself every day how hard i have to work, im on the tools half the week , my choice, which i enjoy the most , and doing reports the rest of the week but thats life, my advice, get all the tickets you can- try and get on with a smaller company or some one who will take you under there wing, with the large companys you are more likely to pick up bad habits and your efforts and enthusiasm will be less likely to be noticed. Dont do it for the money alone, try and seek out a boss with good credentials and work really hard if you get the chance, be on time and dont let them down with days off and dont be the last one out of the truck when you have lunch
  23. im a bit new, my inability to spell and my FAT fingers frustate me and from some of my replies the members too, in the day i have a girl who does all my typing, big words and all, Arbtalk- youd think would be Arb folk- but the mix match is a little to wide for me, The whole Arb thing on here gets me down- we judge people to easily- those who we are led to believe are the pro-knolagable ones seem to lack practical experience and those with practical experience are taken addvantage of, it does seem to me that a lot of threads get put on with out any real thought, all the ones for the crack are great and its good banter, but it does get a little bullish at times. it could just be the way people reply? but its sometimes easyer just to sit back and read rather than reply.
