  1. Are you actually serious about shaving the weight of the unemployed cam off your ascender? A short haircut and empty the change out of your pockets!
  2. You know you want to .....
  3. It's not actually the specific wearing of 'S&S' that I enjoy the most - rather the whole idea of suiting yourself and not giving a toss about what unconnected others might think. It's beyond fashion - it's freedom!
  4. On the beach in Ireland, the rain's a bit cold so what do you do? You tuck your T-shirt into your speedos, that's what you do!
  5. Hey, listen. I'm an ugly, 45 year-old, married man from Ireland - what do I have to worry about style and fashion for?! If truth be told, I reckon many of the nay-sayers on here aren't super models either.
  6. Socks and sandals? - gets four YES's from me. You're through to the next round, Big J.
  7. I've just downloaded it. Thanks for the info.
  8. Agreed.
  9. Ted, the number of dealers on which side of the Atlantic? Please type slower for me.
  10. Yeah - this is true, but punctuation and context are vital for the reader to predict the next bit of the ......... sentence.
  11. With respect, things were already understood. I doubt this will help the good dealers - your customer relationship has been compromised by Stihl. As already said by many, I don't need dealership advice - it's like going out for a meal and having to talk to a dietician before you're allowed to order.
  12. Why just a woman's nipple?
  13. I climb in a Sequoia SRT, the only other difference I would cite is, because of the additional attachment point, it doesn't have a click buckle on the waist. A word of caution would be that it isn't as supportive as some of the other harnesses; I chose this harness because I'm small and the likes of the Tree motion came too far up my lower back. If you could get a chance to try one before buying, you would be in a better position to make an personally-informed choice. Good luck.
  14. But how 'correct' do contributors have to be? What about correct punctuation? I understand exactly where you're coming from, but I think I would rather have good opinion badly presented than members feeling reluctant to respond.
  15. As far as I know, the Vertex has a strap cradle that is in contact with your head, the Alveo is lined with polystyrene that is in contact with your head. Although I've never used an Alveo, I've worn an Elios (also with a poly liner) and it's a less ventilated helmet (hotter) than the Vertex I use for work. Hopefully someone with an opinion on the Alveo will be along.
  16. Then it's perfect!
  17. A beautiful thing, can you access the rampart from the inside?
  18. It has a slightly 'furry' coating on the underside. When normal condensation occurs, the water has to gather to form drips, this coating allows the water to spread over the entire surface instead of gathering on the low edges of the sheet. The ventilation is needed to evaporate the water from the large damp surface, this happens slowly but usually fast enough to have 'capacity' for the next dew point event. Whether it works or not depends on how much condensation occurs versus how much evaporation follows.
  19. I thought Petzl didn't sell them as spares to avoid them being used inappropriately. Maybe someone knows better.
  20. You're sitting there smiling, aren't you.
  21. Yeah, I use them in the yard in winter. They're a good job and I've yet to loose one from the boot sole. You just have to remember to take the boots off before going into houses!
  22. http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4927883329732970&pid=15.1
  23. On Ebay. Snowbee Screw-In Wader Studs | eBay
  24. How much are they?
