    You must be a contortionist!
  2. Very true, James. But, if seeking employment, it's hardly considered a wise career move.
  3. One's for a poly core - the other is for 'exotic' core materials.
  4. That's true (Class 2). That's true too (people that do).
  5. When rock climbers used to use just a belt, this is similar to the way we would use a sling to abseil on. A bit like the old swami belt method.
  6. Well, this one is still going strong.
  7. A fair point now that the new caps are out. My suggestion was really more of an experiment than obvious advice.
  8. Are we talking about a positioning lanyard or a saw lanyard? Yeah, right, got it now.
  9. I agree. Try having the cap so loose that it leaks - then, as it leaks, slowly turn the cap. The O-ring only has to touch the rim of the tank.
  10. Once found a concrete filling in a Hornbeam. The whole of the hollow had been filled about 40 yrs before.
  11. I was a Stihl patron but bought a 550xp when I was changing the 260. I like it a lot. Handy in the tree.
  12. But what I'm not sure of is just how tight a cap needs to be. I mean, with the O-ring working properly the cap easily seals without the need to spanner it shut. I've never had a cap (in good condition) leak or vibrate loose. Maybe someone can give a view?
  13. I would retaliate, but on lifting my walking stick I would fall over!
  14. Can these new caps fit the older, screw-in type 550xp's?
  15. Ha Ha No, not those wee toy boats. I'm talking about loaded sea kayaks - you know, 'grown up' boats.
  16. I reckon it is - in the same way one might be proud of solving cryptic crosswords!
