  4. Well i had to ask them, how removing the chainbrake handle improves the saw... "Hi, It was removed because the person using it was cutting trees with lots of bushes (branches) around and so it interrupted the chainsaw going deeper into the tree.." Well that's fine - no chance of kickback with lots of branches around

  15. I started on £50 a day straight out of college - that was self employed and i had to buy my own ppe. If I was him at that stage i would take it before someone else does! He's young and has alot of years ahead of him to build up to making top $$.
  16. When it's a clear road ahead with a slow 'middle laner' in front of me, whilst i'm in the slow lane, i just carry on and undertake them. I shouldn't have to cross two lanes just to overtake, then cross back two lanes to get to where i was in the first place! If they don't take that as a hint then they are obviously stupid.

  19. Hello Stihl, I was on site the other day and realised that the bar on my Stihl saw needed replacing asap, so I phoned up my favourite dealer on my lunch break and a new bar arrived the next day in the post. I wouldn't have made it to the nearest dealer as I was at work until closing time - and had no guarantee that they would have that particular bar in stock. May I ask, did you consider what the implications of this new policy were on real life professionals? I own two Stihl saws and now face alot of hassle, time lost and fuel costs trying to fix them. If this policy continues, I shall have to replace them with Husqvarna saws.
  20. What is your experience level? That'll help with a more accurate answer
