  1. The ranger's max tow is 3350kg, so it was higher than the isuzu but not anymore! The ranger looks great though....

    log theft

accidental of course... Cheers guys. It's just annoying isn't it?! They must have driven in and out about 3 times with 4x4 and trailer and now the track in is also ruined!... Well, unless it was intended to be an off road course...

    log theft

So.... Just got a phone call from my friend, calling from the woodland we manage, to tell me that some kind soul has broken through the gate, driven down the track and helped themselves to about 6 pallet loads of our split logs. Nice. Can't believe the gall of some people! I know it's not all that much in the grand scheme and I'm sure people have had worse, but it's so demoralising! Just thought I'd vent steam to some people who will understand my frustration...
  6. As the title suggests, I'm on the lookout for some professional experience. I've admired the arboriculture world for a while and now I want to go for it and get involved. Happy to come along on jobs and help/watch/be dogsbody/carry brash. I live in Derbyshire, in the Alfreton area but I have a car and can drive...! For what it's worth: I'm 25, hard working, currently self-employed as an Outdoor Pursuits instructor, qualified climbing instructor, hold a valid wilderness first aid certificate (better than nothing but probably not relevant?!) full UK driving license. I have my own boots, helmet, gloves and stihl chainsaw. I'm fairly sure I won't be able to do any cutting but I mention it so you know I'm not a dreamer. I don't smoke, so I won't be rolling fags all day! haha Any help or time will be very appreciated. Thanks, Adam
  7. Hi everyone, Just joined the forum - thought I'd say hello. I'm just starting out properly in the arb world really, I've already learned so much from this forum (over the past 2 days!) and I'm quite addicted..... sad?? Anyway, thanks in advance for any help people give. Great forum. Adam
