    Jokes???

After countless letters seeking gainful employ, worn out keyboard on the laptop, and e-mail accounts creaking at the seams ...I had a job interview today. Everything went fine so I thought and then the muppet interviewing tried that old chestnut !. The manager handed me his laptop and said, "I want you to try and sell this to me." So I put it under my arm, walked out of the building and went home. Eventually he called my mobile and said, "Bring that computer back here!" I said, "£100 and it's yours.". he muttered summat about don't call us we will call you
  5. Well done mate.
  6. I can't help, but I'm sure someone will be along who can.
  7. Are you still working for Premier Paul?
  8. Thanks to you all, I never thought the old man passing would have much of an impact on me if I'm honest, it was his time, & I was prepared, but it knocked me a corker. Just goes to show, some things, you just can't predict how they play out.
  9. That's bloody lovely mate!
  10. Good job you got that sorted quickly, speedy recovery to you.
  11. Touche! Yours needs a clearout too... I got your message mate, and a big thanks, I'm on top of it all so no need, but I will pm you tomorrow anyway as I fancy bringing Silly Sally, my lovely controller, up for an ice cream.
  12. Thanks lads, he was ready to go, so my grieving is maybe selfish, & he would have liked the laughs my clumsiness inevitably creates. Pm box clear now VI.
  13. Ok, I lost my father last Monday, tough times. Then I went & did this..... I committed a heinous mistake yesterday....now don't read on if your not fond of dark humor, but I am working with my nephew 'tim tom' getting things straight at my father's house, where we are having his funeral based from. My father's name is Peter, rest his soul, he always said,'just chuck me in a hole when I go'. He has a 4 acre garden, so we have a lot of work to do there to please my mother & two sisters & get it looking pristine.... Anyway, I'm over there with my digger & truck, spreading the drive, Tim tom had just got back from the garden centre with a ton of compost type material,in my truck, & was setting off again for some pea shingle, the women of the family were having tea on the porch, organising us, as they do, & mutton head me, on seeing Tim setting off without having unloaded, shouts out to him; 'Tim, Tim, stop'...he retorts, 'Why'? Then I go and say it, at the top of my voice.....' You've still got Pete in the back of the back of the truck'! The wailing that ensued from the porch resembled a siren's fish market!!! If this can cause a laugh or smile to cross a few faces here I'm a happier man for my errant ways....

  16. Looking Good Rob!
  17. Some smooth machine you have there!
  18. I had one of those machines, it worked it's socks off, & still is for the new ownes, the old style long arm controls were so worn it was like rowing for Oxford using it! Good reliable machine! My friend who now owns it is 6foot 9inch tall, when he is on it he looks like an ostrich sitting on an egg....& can help it along when tracking by paddling with his legs...
  19. Here's me in the late 70's, must have been an original one, I had been on the road for a few weeks so had the scruffy look too, albeit without the lumberjack shirt...
  20. The long one was made by a female robot...
  21. You might get away with it, depends how much spray & where..... If not the try this....MAIDSTONE SOUP KITCHEN :: OpenCharities
  22. That does look to have had some human influence to my eyes on blowing the image up.
