    Jokes???

Fair comment, but forgive me please, I have bagged them all up, along with the soggy moggy, & will be dropping them off far from home..... ahh the sweet joy of redemption...

    Jokes???

I'm not too pleased about this myself........................... All went well until I lifted the lid, the cat shot out, up the new curtains, shredding them, fell backwards straight into the 'Ming' vase, destroying that, then proceeded to rampage along the mantle piece knocking all my cat show trophies to the floor, I won't be taking your advice again any time soon...
  4. That's a pain, not had any agro with mine.
  5. As you said your not sure yourself.... Best not advise someone to crack on & do the job then imo:001_smile:
  6. I take my cap off to you sir, most generous.
  7. Bad losers comes to mind, it's done, it was democratic, & labour stuffed the country & took us to the cleaners, you talk about future generations, they will be paying off the labour borrowing......
  8. 1100 kg braked I believe.
  9. Lovely image of these trees David. The last post is quite fascinating to see!!
  10. Steer clear mate, they wont be insulated, & are all but touching each other by force of the branch tip to make matters worse.

    My accident

Your open honesty is astounding, & reveals a man, just a man, with the emotional frailty we all have, & yet a strength most of us would not be capable of mustering. Total respect to you Sean.
  13. I think he got lost on the train with his new 'vision goggles' on Jon mate, the batteries will run out soon enough & he will return.
  14. I get what you are saying, & admit, going down in the basket has to be the worst outcome.
  15. Rope yourself to the basket, not the tree, I always carry an abseil rope in case of mewp failure, and would use this to get down if there was a big problem. Make sure the ground staff can operate the mewp from below if needed.
  16. That is how I got hit, they took just saws & nothing else, that was some months ago now.
  17. You have a way of putting things now & then that is amusing, that's a good thing in this day & age mate, main thing is you get your point across nicely as well as lightening the day.

    My accident

That truly is a stunning picture Sean, I looked at it for a few minutes while reflecting on your post. I can't imagine the relief you will get when you can get out in the car with your family after all this time cooped up. You may not end up a pro football player, but other 'goals' await you, & I'm sure you will find & achieve new ambitions as time goes by. If that builder so much as gives you a wink, get some strong locks on the window asap!
  19. If you get one from a decent supplier I doubt you will have any grief Lee.
  20. Wet & half rotting or dry & dusty as hell, either way I would not cherish the task, & want top dollar to get rid of it.
  21. I will second that, great knowledgeable service.
  22. Good on you Dean, that lady will end up a victim if she is not careful.
