  1. Yep, just put a thread up about the climber bit, a word of advice on the recovery from your opp, DON'T READ THE JOKE THREAD!!! I'm trusting that being young & impetuous you will be off looking at it now, it will have you in stitches... I'm off to get me coat.
  2. Sounds like you will be best set to get in a subby climber to sort the plane, sure someone will be up for it, good luck with the operation by the way. You gotta be careful what you post here at the weekend, spiking in trees that are to be retained gets us all soap boxed up.

    I am back

Wishing you a speedy recovery back to good health Andy.
  4. William, you get bonus points for that saw!
  5. Put the bait into a bit of old stocking after its been left outside to remove any scent, peanut butter does well, hair trigger your traps with a file if they don't go off easily, & pour boiling water over them & cover in soil for a few days after a kill if the are steel traps. You need to make sure the approach to the trap optimises the clean kill, & don't place them up close to the rat holes.
  6. Yes Mull, not a good honest party in the mix.
  7. Party pooper maybe, would that qualify him?
  8. I thought they already had their say, democratically, regarding A.S becoming deputy prime minister, well that is not going to happen in a million years!

    Birthday

    Happy birthday to you!
  10. As long as the stumps are ground out right through then yes you can replace in the same location, the chips will make a nice top dressing after planting too.
  11. Ahh, you should go to a shop where they pay the staff commission!
  12. I'm in the leave them camp, if you liked them, with some selective pruning over a few years they will come back with vigor. Mulching underneath will help.
  13. Yes, I have it here next to my log pile, better keep my glasses on when I go cutting up more logs... So where are these going to?
  14. Make an eye wash of 50% honey/water, or put a little runny honey directly in the eye to help remove debris, it works.
  15. Yes you can get it from a scratch or small puncture wound.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY BY PAM AYRES The missus bought a Paperback, down Shepton Mallet way, I had a look inside her bag;... T'was "Fifty Shades of Grey". Well I just left her to it, And at ten I went to bed. An hour later she appeared; The sight filled me with dread. In her left hand she held a rope; And in her right a whip! She threw them down upon the floor, And then began to strip. Well fifty years or so ago; I might have had a peek; But Mabel hasn't weathered well; She's eighty four next week!! Watching Mabel bump and grind; Could not have been much grimmer. And things then went from bad to worse; She toppled off her Zimmer! She struggled back upon her feet; A couple minutes later; She put her teeth back in and said "I am a dominator!!" Now if you knew our Mabel, You'd see just why I spluttered, I'd spent two months in traction For the last complaint I'd uttered. She stood there nude and naked Bent forward just a bit I went to hold her, sensual like and stood on her left tit ! Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out; My God what had I done! She moaned and groaned then shouted out: "Step on the other one!!" Well readers, I can tell no more; Of what occurred that day. Suffice to say my jet black hair, Turned fifty shades of grey! __________________

  20. Very much depends on the land & location, it does render me flabbergasted at what some land will go for.
  21. As long as you keep a good smooth curve & flow it should work ok.
  22. The days of getting good cheap land are all but gone, I got mine for a pittance back in the day, glad I did!
  23. That is nice, & a great bit of timber!
  24. Yep.
  25. It looks like a proper one from what I can see in the pic.
