  1. You can get spares, just have to find the good dealers, but Husky will have a better spares setup, they need it for that topper!
  2. I have the 360, it has been a good saw to be honest, I would buy another if it was needed certainly.
  3. I could be interested in this, if the previous lads don't want it, I'm in Essex & can come grab it if the price is right. Pm me any info & we can go from there mate.
  4. Hiya Rachel, the willow sounds very nice, & would be useful as you say where a lightweight build is desirable! Mine is spalted beech,I had it sitting around & thought it good for the job, lets hope it holds together in seasoning, though with the spalting there a bit of filler won't really notice if I need it. Do you still have your willow? it would be great to see some of the figure in it.
  5. Yep, it should look nice, I have boarded the van in pine t&g, this will frame it all & add some interest once it is seasoned out.
  6. I'm building a motor home mate, they will be at the roof/wall interaction as trims, and ribs in the upright.
  7. Gave my little Echo a spin on a mini mill, I wanted a small kerf to maximise output, here are the results, cut at 20mm thick, going to be planed one side only, the timber was sitting about for a year & a half & I have a job for it, any tips on seasoning welcome, I was thinking to stack them on a flat surface with minimal gaps & get some weight on them, having painted the ends with pva glue. Outside but covered from the elements.
  8. Thank you Andy, very decent of you!
  9. Well I never, that looks good! Care to give us a few tips on how you laminated it up to be a blank & what grade of ply?
  10. I pulled one of them back in the 80's at a local disco, have to agree with the description.
  11. Looks like a swan egg to me, what else is it likely to be after all. Boil it for 20 mins & cover in mayo, with paprica sprinkled on top, lovely!
  12. Your father looks very proud of that bike, & rightly so David!
  13. Get well soon mate, wishing you a full recovery asap.
  14. Hey Dan you have a good eye for shape, that looks great!
  15. The 260 is a good solid saw, not the fastest, but a long lasting well built old school cutter.
  16. I think you might have made a mistake there, 27 if your lucky more like. These trucks whatever make are not going to give much over 30mpg in normal driving, mostly less, its the nature of the vehicles, having said that, my ranger, on an 07 plate with a chip body on it gives mid to high 20's mpg on a motorway run taking it easy, working it & towing is a lot worse, as it will with any motor, especially with a twin wheel trailer & load up.
  17. They are not her trees, & the one in question most likely outdates her occupation of the property, I would tell her your not interested. Oh, & beauty is skin deep, ugly goes right down to the bone....
  18. That is a disgusting thing they have done, I hope your friend gets his flock returned & the perps get something more radical.
  19. Ed Milliband He loves a job where he hasn't got a clue!
  20. Pure class!!!
  21. Oh that... yes my lounge is a workshop of sorts, two custom bikes in here right now, my idea of modern art!
  22. I would fess up to a few things, but I honestly don't know where to begin...
  23. Yes mate,I'm sure it's a great show, I'm just peeved that when it was brought to the public eye about inbreeding/ deformity & illness problems, to accentuate certain traits of certain breeds, the KC were in denial & slow to respond to a multitude of real concerns, in fact, they were in denial over some issues that have caused long term suffering in some animals & detracted from working strains. Basically they were after form rather than function, pure vanity imo, & the notion of form was to exaggerate some traits the old true breeds had by, in some instances with KC club breeders, couple direct mother/ son to achieve the 'look'! Even Hitler didn't manage that!
  24. Morning Jon, I'm an old bigot after seeing what the Kennel club did to some breeds of dog, & so won't give them my support, as in my opinion they ruined some good working breeds, & created a lot of suffering.
