  1. Tree wolf has given good advice, and of course it can be engine oil loss coming out the bell housing,as the bh covers the rear of the engine, flywheel, crankshaft assembly.
  2. Second that:thumbup1:
  3. The China factories can't compete with the cheap low quality oem parts so don't bother...
  4. Jon,take no notice of him mate,he's trying to makeep you feel responsible for green peace activists...
  5. It could be rear crankshaft seel, the will be gearbox and flywheel removal at least, possibly engine removal, talk to a landy independent service place.
  6. You have character Jon, and your posts instigate the average human body to release endorphins !

    Buy an echo!!

Bang on the button,I don't give two figs what folk want to buy, and have not knocked any other brand, but echo are up there as a viable alternative, and some biased fool trying to hold people back from having straight info is something worth correction.
  9. That is lovely also, great skill and a lot of time, not to mention coming up with the concept

    Buy an echo!!

Well you did not answer my question about your saw usage, but I agree fact is fact etc, fact is there are a good few who actually get to use these saws,in a professional capacity, who praise them as viable options,, your the one spouting hype and bs on this thread, hence the hasty retreat, great, but irresponsible to influence other users here who might consider the options out there, and actually have to earn a living and feed their kids on the strength of their choices. So from me, a big thank you for clearing off without having shown any tangible negatives on either saw, but why would you want to pop up and make yourself look a complete weener? (That is I believe a type of floppy saussage)!

    Buy an echo!!

I have run both in a professional capacity, for a fair period of time, both saws have their strengths, I admit, but I favour the 620 for its reliability, strong build and grunt cutting power. Not having a dig, but do you have first hand experience in the field with the saws you comment on?

    Buy an echo!!

I can vouch for the 620 echo, everyone who gets their mits on mine wants one!
  13. Love it:lol::biggrin:
  14. Wish it looked like that here Paul, thimk I might have to swim to work:biggrin:
  15. Hat off to you, good level headed response.
  16. Sorry for my auto correct messing up my words.
  17. Most likely you will need a car rubber kit, but it will be worth it, it's a small inconvenience that would have shown up soon caused by ethanol degrading the parts from pump fuel. you might try a 1/4 turn richer on the L screw, and raise the tick over setting screw a touch, but if that fails it's new rubbers.
  18. He,s a nice guy with his head up his red r€£ctum, will be interesting:bootyshake:
  19. That spurns me to post more often! As to the rest of you...
  20. Thanks mate, though others might not agree with you...
  21. I have not had so much tree work this year, with my shoulder opp, family commitments, etc. I'm getting back to it now the dust has settled, but I tend to lock myself down when things get tough so I have been away. Plus I have have not anything really worthy to contribute other than a bit of banter, & the forum does not deserve just that.
  22. Now that cheered me up White Noise, good on you.
  23. He probably thought, rather wistfully, that you were a red headed damsel in distress with your orange hat on Jon.
  24. :biggrin:Treequip is right in his answer about milking the rope, he is great, and full of good advice too.
