  1. Yeah- the business. Cant think of a crap film they have made.
  2. I HATE with a passion ALL those puerile harry potter films. I walked outof the secon one half way through. Kung Pow though- an awful film but very very funny- a great parody of kung fu movies....
  3. Found this link with some pics.... Hamster - unusual/rare films - The Experiencer

  6. The experiencer.....that is weird..It took about 6 years to make or something like that. Made by a bloke called Kohler i think. One of the most random films ever...... Tetsuo iron man was a japanese oddity if ever there was one.... Quite enjoyed Meet the Applegates.

    Zma?

I honestly dont understand the need for any of this stuff. What is the attraction? I have always eaten well, no junk food, and have been told my physical strength is loads, by people that I work with etc. None of it can be very good for you surely? I genuinely dont get it?
  9. WTF are you on about dave....have you SEEN what i do to mine:confused1: This was dragged across about 600 yards of field and out of a wood first.... And sorry about the awful commentary on this vid:blushing: We did this day after day, and then loaded the trailer the same- I have been doing this for years to my poor landy, and it just comes back for more... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mgo06-Qk1JY]YouTube - Landy loaded and stuck[/ame]
  10. They are seperate, but LANTRA training will give you the knowledge required to pass an NPTC test, which is usually offered as part of the course fee on a LANTRA course. LANTRA (i think) will train and assess you for basic Land based skills, in the area of chainsaw use the most basic tickets, and you can (and usually are ) be issued with a certificate at the end to show you have received training in that subject area. However if you want to do more advanced units then in order to fulfill most employers requirements in the UK and all abroad, the NPTC test will be required to be passed. You are not required to undergo LANTRA traiing to sit an NPTC test, but unless you are experienced and au fait with the NPTC 'syllabus' you would be well advised to prepare yourself for the NPTC test with a LANTRA training course. The above may have made it as clear as mud......
  11. I think the acid test is the continued use, and return to use of defenders in the clay pits in st austell, and most other mining/ quarrying environments in the world. Imerys tried rangers and after 6 months went straight back to defender. FAR tougher, more reliable and cheaper on parts, plus the availability of parts is second to none. Snapping halfsghafts is ONLY down to driving like animals.
  12. Not heard of any probs with the latest defender Dave? No more so than the last ridiculous effort they brought out.
  13. Very sorry to hear that mate. Heres hoping that you get it back.
  14. The presidents analyst, old but a fave. James Coburn in top form.
  15. Dont argue with the assesor! I know a guy who had been climbing for a while and was quite good, went for his cs38, and on the test argued wih the assesor about using a pushing chain (top of the bar) when he shouldnt have, saying that he did it when working. he was failed.
  16. Did you know that the front diff of a ranger will fit inside that of a defender?
  17. That just sums it up Rob. Its that old see-saw thing between stihl and husky i reckon. As one gets really good, the other's quality seems to go down- I am starting to get back into husky saws after about 11 years of hating their build quality and ability to sieze!
  18. Haha- glad someone said it:001_rolleyes:
  19. You tried getting the dog to wear them?
  20. I honestly think (especially after Stihl mentioned to a dealer that 'as long as it says stihl on it they will keep buying it') that the quality if stihl is falling rapidly. I am VERY unimpressed with the ms362, and compared to my 088 which is about 10 years old and has never missed a beat, be it milling or cross cutting, the above posts are most concerning.
